Review: I dropped my truck for repair on 11-26-13. On 11-27-13 [redacted] indicated that repair to correct the issue would cost $1446.80...I agreed to the repairs. Later that day he indicated that the original problem persisted and it would cost an additional $620.52...I agreed to the additional repairs as long as a concession was made on the original bill amount of repairs....he agreed yet later I found he made no adjustment. On 11-29-13 he called and said my truck was complete. I picked it up later that day and broke down on the side of the road 2 miles from Hiller Ford. I brought the truck back frustrated and upset that the excessive amount of money I spent did not address the issue with the truck at all. At that point I spoke not only with [redacted], but also the GM of the dealership [redacted]. I was assured satisfaction in the form of concessions on the initial erroneous repairs. On 12-6-13 [redacted] called and indicated that they were confident they pinpointed the problem and it would cost another $586.08 to finally repair the truck. I spoke at length that we would need to reach an agreement on the final billing of the misdiagnosed repairs. [redacted] said I would have to discuss that with [redacted]. When I talked with [redacted] he told me to talk to the Service Technician that worked on my truck. At that point I realized I was getting the "run around". The third repair finally...should I say hopefully solved the problem.Desired Settlement: I question if the first two repairs were even performed, because they in no way fixed the problem that initially prompted my visit. My truck continued to malfunction in the exact same manner. However, I trust in the integrity and reputation of Hiller so I will assume it was a simple misdiagnosis. Considering that... new parts, although not needed, were installed in my truck. For those I agree to pay the sum of $1204.19 as detailed on their invoice #306026. I seek a refund for the remaining balance ($978.90) reflecting their labor charge. The labor charge is where is misdiagnosis occurred and therefore is not my responsibility.
