Hillis painted every wall in my home (trim too). They also did some exterior work for me in the summer. They were very professional...from initial contact through to the completion of the job. They were also able to schedule the job during a time that best suited me (I travel quite a bit). I would definitely use Hillis again in the future...wouldn't consider calling anyone else.

In January 2018, I entered an on-line contest thru Facebook. My name was chosen and I won a kitchen cabinet painting remodel from Hillis Brothers. I knew that I was moving and that my next house would probably need it more than the current one I was in. Hillis Brothers allowed me to postpone this makeover until I moved. In October we met and planned the makeover. On December 10, they started the process and by December 12, they were done. My cabinets look GREAT! I am happy with the work that they did. Their employees were personable and explained the entire process. Everything was done in a timely and professional fashion. I am happy and would recommend this company to anyone.

This is the second time we have used Hillis Brothers. The first time was to paint the outside of our home and garage. The exterior has several different textures. Aluminum, Cedar and siding. They spray painted everything. When I found a few missed spots they took care of it to our satisfaction. No questions asked...they just took care of it.

Because of that we contracted with them to do some repairs and paint our ceilings in our living and dinning rooms. Once again they were professional, on time, cleaned up and followed up on a minor problem.

I would recommend them and will use them again if the need arises.

Quality work, great follow through, nice family company to work with. We've only used them for painting in the past, and based on their level of professionalism I always assumed they were on the higher end of pricing. For our latest project we would have had to wait several months because they had just accepted a large project. I got several other quotes and was surprised to find they were on the lower end of pricing, and their professionalism was heads above their competition. So we decided they were worth the wait!

We hired Hillis Brothers years ago to paint our house. They were reasonably priced, did excellent work in a timely matter and the paint lasted 8-9 years. So, we decided to get a price this year; and went with them to repaint our house. The company has grown so much they have hired other workers to paint. They did good work, and some places that were light, Jonathan came and went over it. We never paid them until we were happy with the work! We would work with them again! Excellent company!

We had the exterior of our home painted by Hillis Brothers and couldn't be happier with the finished product. The paint crew was hard working, attentive to detail, and very respectful of the property. Their leader, Bobby, was personable and easy to talk with concerning the project.

We had Hillis Bros. paint the exterior of our home on Lake MIchigan. It was an esp complex job as there are three stories to our home with architectural cedar siding and trim on all levels. They did great work, and the crew was courteous and polite, on time and mainted a clean worksite, and worked hard. Would definitely use them again.

Requested a quote to paint the exterior of my house. Scheduled an appointment and within a few days Nathan came out , we reviewed the project with him, and received what we felt was a fair quote within a day. After accepting the quote (we especially liked $0 down with payment not due until the project was complete), we even had Hillis' paint designer come to our house to discuss colors( a first by a painter). Our house was then power washed by Hillis (this is the first time any painter had ever done that) and after all the rain finally stopped, a crew came out to do the work. They were very thorough and professional and did all the little things like paint our outdoor speakers by our pool. After the job was complete and they had left, we noticed a few minor items that needed attending (e.g. the front doorbell which they had removed during painting needed to be reattached). I called Nathan about this and within 15 minutes, someone was back at our house to take care of it. Overall, very pleased with the job. We will certainly have them back.

Nathan Hillis was very attentive and professional throughout the entire process of setting up our project to get our deck power washed and stained. The crew did an overall great job and we are very pleased with the completed project! We would definitely use Hillis Brothers Painting if we needed a painting project done in the future.

We received a flyer in our mailbox for this company so I went online and checked their reviews. Since all were good, I called for an appointment. Nate came out and talked with us and we got an estimate by email the next day. The painter who came, Nicky, was wonderful and conscientious. He spent 3 days bringing our house back to life. He left it cleaner than it was when he came! Nate then followed up by phone to make sure we were satisfied with the work. Definitely use them again and recommend them highly.
