[redacted] Realty changed managers on June 3rd of 2014 for this property, and by June 16th the new manager was notified of this issue by the resident. I immediately started looking into the issue. end of the contract and dealing with the problem as they had been paid to do previously. They were not upholding their end of the building Rodent Warranty that we had paid for in February of 2014 to take care of the problem. I replaced them with [redacted] who immediately took over the warranty and erased the problem almost immediately with no further complaints from any resident in the building. Within less then 15 days of me being notified of the issue, it was resolved. I have uploaded the warranty's as attachments for review.
The issue regarding using poison was also addressed immediately upon notification, and inspection of the apartment. The resident was requested to immediately remove the poison from the apartment and to discontinue use. We informed the resident that it was not necessary because we had fired the old company, and replaced it with a new company that would uphold their end of the warranty and remove the issue quickly and effectively. We also informed the resident of the dangers of using rodent poison and what would happen if it was continued to be used. Upon a follow up inspection a week later, a new bag of poison was discovered in the apartment, even after the new rodent control company had taken over. Once again, the resident was requested to remove the poison and discontinue using it. Approximately two weeks later, we received a complaint from the resident that there were potentially flies coming from a vent. Upon inspection, only two flies were found in the apartment by pest control. A preventative treatment was sprayed into the vent indicated. Aside from this Revdex.com complaint, no additional complaints have been received from the resident for the past 30 days. Prior to this Revdex.com complaint, no complaints were received from the resident since the new rodent control company took over, and no other residents have complained of any issues either written, or verbally. We continue to actively monitor the buildings, and have pro-actively continued warrantying additional buildings in the community against rodents and pests to prevent it from happening in any other buildings.
