May 9,2016Dear *** ***:This letter is in reference to complaint #*** dated May 3,2016.On May 2, 2016, *** *** and his friend, *** *** made a $down payment on a piece living room set; pick up date of May 20,(copy attached).I received a call from MrD***, Sales Associate,
explaining that there had been a mix up on the tags and that he sold a living room set for the wrong price (difference of $500)I immediately asked if the merchandise went out or notHe said, “No, there was a down payment of $and the merchandise isn’t being picked up until the 20Ih of May.I told him to call the customer right away and explain the error and that they can proceed with the purchase at the correct price or receive their down payment backDayonte did as instructed and informed me *** *** passed the call to his friend and she became very belligerent (statement attached).I later went to the store to research why the tags were reversed on the two living roomsDuring this time, I started to help the cashier take salesAs I was walking to the back office I noticed Dayonte talking with a couple not knowing it was *** *** and his friendI was then called on my intercom and notified who they were and that they were demanding their merchandise for the incorrect amountI eventually sat down with the two and explained the situation and apologized and informed them of their optionsThis did not go over well and the two became very loudI told *** *** if he did not lower his voice that he would have to leaveThis only aggravated him more and he then became louder and foul mouthed*** *** loudly demanded her merchandise at the price on her sales slipAt this point I let them know if they did not lower their voice that I would call the authorities and have them escorted outThis again did not go over wellThey became louder and more belligerent*** *** looked at me and asked, “Why are you being like this?”Being that I was the only calm one in the office I did in fact say to *** ***, “Would you like a mirror to see how you look at the moment?” She was very crude with her language and was bobbing her head all over the place with her eyes wide like a crazed womanpicked up the phone to call the authorities at which point she said that she would call so I handed her the phone and walked out of the officeUnfortunately, I dialed *** when I should have dialed *** heard *** *** say, “She dialed ***!” So I returned to the office and dialed the number again and attempted to hand her the phone when she jumped up and said, “I’m going out to call my lawyer!”I continued with the phone call and reported the disturbance and asked for assistanceOnce I hung up I told *** *** that he was to wait outside.*** *** then came in telling me he understood BOTH sides and it was an unfortunate mistakeHe then told me that they were willing to accept the refund of the down paymentHowever, I asked *** *** to remain here during the transaction because I felt very uneasy with *** *** and did not know how he was going to be since he was very rude and would not leave upon my several request for him to do soSgtHollis then returned with the customer’s credit card so we could complete the transaction.Please let me know if you need additional information in regards to this complaint.Sincerely,Logan *W*** Vice President

I am rejecting this response because:This is a complete fabrication of the truth. The original sales person writing the statement was not even present at any time during conversation in Logan's office. She regrets to inform you that she very aggressivly took a red pen and wrote void on her copy of our sales receipt and said now you dont have one (we still have our copy) the employees working at the front desk of the location apologized for Ms. W[redacted] rudeness to us in the beginning as she was told 20 minutes prior of the time we were left standing there, as she completely ignored our presence. She also tried sending the original sales person out to avoid having to deal with us when we first got there but we declined and asked to continue our request for the manager. Together we have bought 2 kitchen tables, 2 sectionals and a sofa love seat combo but will never spend another dime at that store, nor will our friends, family or business associates (as I run one myself and would never treat guests in such a manner). A business should not be allowed to conduct business where consumers are treated unfairly and sales receipts are not honored. There are plenty of websites and social media sights that similar complaints and dissatisfied consumers have declared numerous complaints regarding similar happenings at that particular location. I will just add to them knowing that some day something will be done regarding the dishonesty in the way they conduct business. It is pretty sad when the police told us they have heard nothing but negative things regarding the establishment and would recommend not doing business there.
