While I apologize that there was possibly some miscommunication, the written lease agreement that both the customer and business signed clearly states the due date for rent as the 1st of the monthThe lease also states that late fees begin to accrue on the 4th of the monthThe customer was not penalized any further for not paying the late fee on the 4th, even though the lease agreement states that the balance must be paid in full and no partial payments will be acceptedAt this point, the issue of payment has been resolved as the balance has been paid in full for the month of December, and we greatly appreciate the paymentI have also communicated to the staff my expectations of communicating balances due, and I would recommend to always speak with the Assistant Manager when discussing payments as that position is responsible for processing Thank you, [redacted] Property Manager
The previous resident did indeed have an outstanding balance owed of $The sticker removal was due to vinyl lettering in the common area above the TV, not in someone’s bedroom, so the charge was divided equally among all residents of the apartmentAt no point did the previous resident call or
write to College Suites to dispute the chargeAfter many attempts to collect the balance owed, the previous resident finally paid the balance; however, it was in the form of cash and we cannot accept cash*** contacted the previous resident the day after it was received in the mail
