This company does not respect their customersI am years old and was without heat/oil on a very cold day They would not deliver oil because of a balance on my account I am supposedly on their budget plan so I offered to pay an amount towards my balance and then a promise to pay(they have my CC info) when I receive my SS check in a few daysSo I stayed without heat all dayThey delivered oil to me when I did not need it in the past and did repairs without going over pricing with me The repairs alone were over $dollars! Most of my balance was from these two incidents
Since they made me pay for an oil delivery up front I was only able to afford gallons which will only last me to weeks depending on how cold the days will be! This company takes advantage of the elderly!

We had a very bad experience with this company. On the coldest day of the year our boiler blew. We have a 10 month old baby and disabled veteran in the house. The cost of the boiler was 6,200. They would not help us unless we paid the 6200 in full. We do not have money like that. We offered to pay half but they refused to help us. I would never do business with these people again.

Review: On Oct. 15, 2012 Hilltop Fuel engaged in a Gold 2 Year Contract to maintain my furnace and make regular oil deliveries once again, then falsely claimed I had violated an earlier oil exclusivity contract of 2010, and further accused me of falsely securing the current Oct. 2012 maintenance contract when I purchased C.O.D. fuel from another company 3 months earlier, though I hadn't received oil from Hilltop in 1 1/2 years, and though I fully explained over the telephone and disclosed my oil tank level on their required form and before paying for that maintenance contract by giving my credit card number over the telephone. On Jan. 6, 2013, I called in an effort to schedule service as I am receiving a "filter" message on my thermostat. Hilltop Fuel claimed to have deleted my contract from their system after taking the money I paid for the Maintenance Gold Contract and using it to pay a service person outside of that contract without my permission. Hilltop also claims they took the $10 balance and credited money back to my account. Summary: On Oct. 15,2012 I reengaged Hilltop Fuel in an effort to enter into contract once again as I believed both oil exclusivity and Maintenance Contract had expired after not having received regular oil deliveries for 1 1/2 years. Hilltop took exception to my purchasing best price oil from another company in July 2012 after my tank ran dry in April 2012. Before signing their Contract and while on the telephone I did disclose that fact to an older female employee I spoke to who claims to have consulted the owner who in turn did agree to engage me once again in business with Hilltop Fuel . Hilltop did provide the 1st of 2 maintenance service cleanings on Oct. 27, 2012 which they claim to have provided outside the Gold 2 Year Contract I purchased on Oct. 15, 2012, when I spoke to Customer Service on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014. Resolution sought: I purchased a Maintenance Contract with Hilltop on Oct. 15, 2012 for $189.95. Independent of any belief Hilltop has of earlier violation, monies were exchanged and a contract was signed. I want what Contract is bound to provide and nothing more. Since Oct. 2012 I have received 3 oil deliveries with all balances paid in full. In the wake of sub zero temps I requested service on 1/6/2014 and spoke to Customer Service. I was advised to send an email to owner which I did on 1/7/2014 at 12:23 pm, which was read/opened within 2 minutes without response. The email was fairly detailed including the fact that I take care of a 5 year old and cannot afford to have my furnace go down. I waited more than 24 hours before pursuing the next step.

Part of our terms and conditions to maintain our companies service contract is that all fuel to power the heating system is to be provided by Hilltop Fuel. As long as Mr. [redacted] agrees to remain on automatic delivery in good standing on 30-day payment terms, we have no problem at all with providing him service.
