Due to the fact that multiple payments have been waived for this matter, we feel that Purple Plier has acted in good faith to try and satisfy the desires of [redacted] Even after attempting to make the situation fair by reducing the original invoice value, [redacted] refuses to accept rates for labor that has been doneWe believe that we have done everything in our power to try and satisfy the customers desires, and by insisting that we be paid for the reduced invoice of $we are simply maintaining our business integrity

In response to *** ***s complaint, Purple Plier would like to state that the original agreement was to install the Christmas lights for the same price that was charged the year previousThis cost was $dollars to put up Christmas lights that were provided by *** *** himself. The
lights that *** *** provided for us to install were laid out on the front lawn when the technician (Davey) arrived to propertyDavey was informed by *** *** that the lights were all in working order, and was instructed to use only the lights that were providedThe technician (Davey) began to install the lights based on the assumption that *** *** had confirmed that the lights were all in working orderThe majority of the lights provided were used in past years*** *** also provided several ft sections that were newly purchased for use in the winter 2015-Once the lights had been fully installed we spoke with *** *** about how the lights lookedThe lights were installed during the day, which made it difficult to recognize the luminance When speaking with *** *** about the lights that were installed, he recognized that a small ft section that was outlining the garage were “twinkling”*** *** then stated that he did not want “twinkling” lightsThese twinkling lights were provided by *** *** and we were instructed to use these ft sections that he had purchasedAfter recognizing that this section was not what *** *** had intended to provide, we replaced this particular ft section with lights that were not “twinkling”Once we had replaced this section we asked one last time if everything was satisfactory*** ***’s response was that he was satisfied with the way things were Upon invoicing for the work provided, *** *** stated that once he was able to see the lights in the dark he recognized another ft section on the second story of the house was also “twinkling” and that there were a number of sections where the lights did not illuminateThese sections where the lights did not work, were on the strands of lights that he provided for the jobWe spoke and agreed to send another technician out to fix the areas of concern Purple Plier has a standard billing system of $for the first hour minimum, and $for every minutes followingTo come back to the property *** *** agreed to pay a maximum of $to fix the areas of concernThe technician who replaced the, customer provided, broken and the “twinkling” lights took minutesPurple Plier only charged $for the fix instead of $ *** *** refused to pay the outstanding balance of $until we came to uninstall the lightsWe sent another technician (***) to the property to remove the lights*** *** again appeared to be very satisfied with the work that was provided during the removal of the Christmas lights** *** called the owner of the company directly and left a voicemail which illustrated his great satisfactionOnce the work was complete Purple Plier sent an invoice for the hour that it took to remove the lights as well as the $balance that was dueThis is when *** *** reached out to express his concern for being billed for the work we provided in taking down the Christmas lights The agreement made by Purple Plier was to install the Christmas lights for $180.00, this price was based on what was charged in the pastThe agreed cost of $was to install onlyPurple Plier acted in good faith by attempting to compromise with *** ***, by meeting in the middle (instead of 89) for the cost to remove the Christmas lightsThe total cost to install, fix, and remove the Christmas lights for *** *** was $265, at our standard hourly rate that is a little over hour’s labor costPurple Plier spent a total of hours to install, fix, and remove the Christmas lights that were providedThe value for the extra hours spent on this job is $ In conclusion, Purple Plier has made its best effort to provide exceptional services to *** ***, despite having to return to the property to replace lights that were not what *** *** intended to have installedAccording to our records the original estimate that was provided in was for $lights on house and trees, and was later reduced to $for installation of lights on the house only, not including treesThis estimate and invoice provided in does not include any notion that the $included removal as well as install
