I am not about to tell stories as well as a specific points:
1- the place stinks (head manager smokes indoor)2- the sellers doesn't know any about cars but telling that they have a very good cars3- Ethnic behavior offended me4- they pushed me to take the car before snowAnd said that they did the required maintenance and gave me the car to drive in rush in a snowing bad night with bad headlight bulb, leaking coolant hose ( half filled ) and bad tiresPutting my life in danger carelessly 5- the registered the owner names with mistakes and didn't correct it so I had to do it myself6- discovered later the main owner used the car nicely .But during month with the dealer used extremely and didn't change the oil it was overdue for more than mileoil gasket leaks and engine belts must be replace7- they may have nice looking cars but they will lie and give you promises that they will never respect ..in addition to the three month fake guaranteethey will stick to the contract with that do nothing8- the Owner (head manager) yelling always, especially if you have something with the car required maintenance10- dealer never gave me the receipts of the MVA so I don't know how much he did really pay and how much I am supposed to get backI had to pay a lot after the purchase just to get the inspection

To Whom It May Concern: We at Hillwood Auto apologize for the time it has taken for us to respond back in regards to the transaction with [redacted]. First and foremost, all vehicles that we sell here are sold "As ls" and we do not have any exceptions to the rule. Everyone who purchases a vehicle...

from us must sign a Buyer's Guide which states that very same thing. We have enclosed the signed copy of [redacted]'s document. We tried to go above and beyond for her due to her wedding being the week thereafter, so we purchased a 3 month power train warranty, of which we did not charge her for.Going in order based on the list of problems that [redacted] had layed out for her 2013 [redacted]:-We were not informed of the rear wiper nozzle not functioning -we called multiple [redacted] dealerships in the area and we were informed that the 2013 [redacted] does not have rear ball joints. The mechanic/friend misinformed [redacted] which leads us to question their qualifications as well as credability. The amount of $250 for a nonexistent repair job is confusing. The VIN is enclosed on the Supporting documents to corroborate our findings. We asked [redacted] to bring the vehicle in to which she mentioned her schedule would only allow for drop off/pick up being on weekends. We did not deny her and said we will comply with her request. She brought the [redacted] and mentioned a noise coming from the passenger side rear wheel; apparently her mechanic mentioned there being an issue with the rear ball joint. The 2013 [redacted] does not even have rear ball joints. Upon her picking up the [redacted], she mentioned not hearing the noise.- we have the completed inspection for the 2013 [redacted]. Prior to our listing vehicles for sale at our dealership, we must comply with all Motor Vehicle Dealear Board regulations. When we purchase a car to later resell, we must first have the vehicle inspected with a Virginia Safety Inspection. We have also enclosed a copy of this for your records as well.We would not be in business if we had unethical standards. We are very honest and upfront about the way we handle things. Sticker shock is not uncommon but we try to do what we can to leave with a clean conscience while still being in business. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Review: I purchased a 2005 [redacted] vehicle from Hillwood Auto Sales and Service, located [redacted], Virginia, [redacted]. This vehicle was purchased at $4,895 plus processing fees of $365 totaling the purchase cost to be $5,260. The dealer represented to that the vehicle was “As-Is” but in good operation except for the following problems.

1. A missing light to be replaced

2. Check engine lite problem need to be fixed

3. Rear view mirrors need repairs

4. Spare tire need to be replace

The dealer representative signed an implied warranty that these problems with the vehicle would be replaced or repaired prior to deliver of the vehicle on November 2, 2013. I [redacted] paid the remaining deposit on the deliver date believing that the problems were fixed. In fact, the dealer knew that the check engine lite had not been repaired.

A week later, the vehicle was returned to Hillwood Auto Sales and Service because the check engine was on. The dealer implied that they did some work and return the vehicle with the check engine not showing. Another week past and the vehicle were returned again to Hillwood Auto Sales and Service because the check engine was on. The dealer kept the vehicle for one week to replace the thermostat which was stated the problem. About two weeks later the engine lite came on again. This time I took the 2005 [redacted] vehicle to a dealership known as [redacted] on January 27, 2014 to repair the problem. [redacted] stated that it would cost over $3,000 to replace and repair the check engine lite problem.

I furthermore contacted Hillwood Auto Sales and Service about the cost and non-service that they did not perform. Hillwood Auto Sales and Service said that they would look into repairing the problem but never concurred to fixing the problem. After two weeks of phone call and emailing, Hillwood Auto Sales and Service would not respond.Desired Settlement: I am seeking $6,957 of financial damage for a vehicle driven 621 miles since purchased; that is now not operable and other cost associated with the vehicle. These cost are the following:

1. $5,260 for the purchase of the vehicle

2. $ 106 for vehicle inspection in the state of Maryland

3. $ 425 for cost of transfer the title, taxes and tags

4. $ 800 for cost of insurance

5. $ 366 for cost of having problem diagnosed by Dealership

Review: On May 3, 2014 my family and I was searching for an reliable vehicle to commute from Washington, DC to [redacted], MD.We found Hillwood Auto Sales & Service, in which we looked online did our research. Found two good looking and could be reliable cars. We went an hour out to go see test drive and buy a car cash. when we arrived a gentleman was already trying to finance one of the vehicles. We were about to leave when he told us the guy has been here all day he probably cant get the car. We thought it was a blessing. so we took the 2002 pearl white [redacted] for a test drive it was beautiful and smooth. We returned and asked over and over 2002 [redacted] if everything would be find with the vehicle. I explained to the sales man that this was not a everyday purchase this was my last hard earn. I put down 500 that day got the rest of my money out the bank the next day and went to get my new car. I drove home the next morning got up for school and before I got halfway there my new car was over heating. I wanted to cry. I been searching for weeks thought I did my homework and I still got cheated. I called hillwood to tell them he told me are you sure the guy is not here but call back. I barely made it home from school. I was frustrated and annoyed I called hilwood again and ask why would you do this he got defensive and started yelling and telling me don't accuse him of anything and basically told me if I wanted any help I had to do it his way. It took two days to finally negotiate a deal and him take the car back but I couldn't say a word I felt use and humiliated along with my family after we broke down constantly in the heat just to bring the car back. After I returned the car back I still was cheated out of $400 which he kept and told me it was a processing fee. After I filled up the 2002 [redacted] with gas and stops for water to cool down the engine and to keep us from dehydration. I feel like hillwood is not a business just scammers is this the new America.Desired Settlement: I would like the rest of my money back the $400 processing fee plus $150for the gas and trouble getting the car back. I would also like for Revdex.com to do an investigate on the services provided by hillwood auto & sales.
