As I stated before I was told how to book a hitel room and be out on the wedding partys slot and this was not done and no one from the hotel wouod help me or fix my reservationThe bride and groom just tecieved over dollar bill because when they called and even know they were told NO ONE was put in the slot and they were not wwlcomed there anymore and had to find somewhere else to goOntop of having to stay at a totally different hotel from the wedding party and guest the hilton had people picketing and a giant pig out side screaming at everyine including myself walking by! I was again lied to with the oarkinf the parkinf attend said it was going to be free parking that evening and over night because I was attendening a wedding at the state room, I confirmed this again in the morning just to find out my card was chsrged dollars

not completely filled then the customer is responsible for 80% of the rooms. It appears 5 rooms were booked leaving 3 additional rooms not booked to be charged for. The consumer that filed the complaint is personally paying less than the rooms reserved for the wedding as she is a Hilton member.

The guest in question has made a reservation by selecting the Hilton Advance Purchase rate online. At time of booking, guest had agreed that the reservation was non-refundable and non-changeable. The guest also actually stayed in the hotel. Did not even try to cancel it prior to arrival. So, based on the terms and conditions of the reservation ( non-refundable and non-changeable) and the facts that the guest actually stayed in the hotel, we are unable to provide a refund. While we understand and appreciate that the guest was disappointed as there was a picketing outside the hotel, the circumstance was not hotel`s doing and is out of the hotel's control. Please note that the hotel is in the process of a contract negotiation with the hotel union representing our associates. Hotel union has decided to exercise their lawful right to boycott our hotel and we simply respect that right to voice their opinion on public grounds. Please also note that the picketers were outside of hotel property.Please also note that Hilton Albany has been fully open, operational and welcoming hundreds if not thousands of guests on a daily basis prior to this particular time frame, during that time frame as well as doing so presently and plan to do so in the future.
