At that time we called [redacted] Water Service andordered a water truck to allow us to have enough pressure to accommodate all of our guests with water.They arrived within the hour and water was resumed to our guests within an hour and half time frame.We also took bottled water to all guest rooms to assist in the inconvenience we all were experiencing.I understand our guests were inconvenienced and we apologize for this. We will adjust all charges off ofthe concerned guests’ folio to rectify the situation. We pride ourselves on all of our guests having anenjoyable stay and the loyalty they have for our property and team. Again, we apologize for thesituation that occurred On October 27th 2014 with the local water main break.Sinc re[redacted]

At the hotel, all I had requested was a $50 discount off our bill because of having to leave 6 hours early due to no facilities. I felt that was fair. Review: On Sunday October 26, I took my disabled wife to a Steelers game, arriving at this hotel very late that night. She was exhausted and we just went directly to bed intending to shower in the morning. Imagine our surprise when we got up on Monday, October 27 at 6 am and had no water to flush the toilet, brush our teeth, take a shower, NOTHING. We got dressed and I went to the front desk and was told that there had been a water main break. I understand that this is beyond their control but at that time, I requested a discount off the room as we had to leave early to use a bathroom elsewhere, etc. The front staff refused. I also requested a receipt for my stay and was told that because I had booked through booking.com that I was to get my receipt from them. (Booking.com says the receipt comes from the hotel) To date, I still do not have a receipt. The hotel did offer us a free breakfast buffet, which we sat down for and then got up and left, it was inedible.I realize we did spend the night but having to check out 5 hours before check out time because there are no bathroom facilities hastened our exit. I strongly feel we should have received some sort of discount for the severe inconvenience that morning. I felt the front office staff was rude and in refusing to give me a receipt, also potentially illegal. When a customer requests a receipt, one should, by law be provided.Desired Settlement: Since we did sleep there but were unable to use the facilities and had to leave early in the morning, with no shower, etc...we cut our stay 5 hours short and left....I feel that at the very least half should be refunded ($70) and a receipt provided. While the hotel was clean, I will not stay there again, given the rudeness of the staff.
