I had a check stolen from my locked Hotel room...the check was cashed for $1400. We have communicated with our clients about the events surrounding his situation.He reported money was missing from the room and our lock interrogation only showed our housekeeper and his card having access to the room in the time frame that he mentioned. I booked a room through[redacted] and paid for it on[redacted] website, once I paid for my room I found out I would be staying at the hilton. I arrived at the hilton located[redacted] in[redacted] Tennessee on Saturday August 16th. The agent asked me for my id & credit card to make sure it was the same card I used to pay for the room through[redacted] and to make sure I was the actual person who was listed on the card. Once this was verified nothing else was needed he gave me the keys to my room and said I was good to go. When I looked at my banking info online on Monday I noticed I had two $25.00 pending transactions from the Hilton hotel, I called them right away only to be informed that a hold wAs put on my card just in case there was a accident In the room and I would get my money back in 3-5 days. I was informed the agent that I was not aware the a hold was going to be placed on my card and someone should have told me upon my arrival. The Hilton still had my money pending and I'm very upset I will never stay there again!!!!Product_Or_Service: Hotel roomDesired SettlementMy money back on my card and maybe a free stay since my money has be on hold for almost a week stopping me for inconveniencing me.Business Response I have left a message with[redacted] and will resolve her situation. Apparently the confusion came on the normal credit hold that happens when you use a credit card. This is a normal process but when she calls back I will make it right with her.
