First and foremost let us apologize for any mishap that may have occurred during your recent relocation. Our records indicate that our company performed a relocation for you on the 2/28/2015. particular customer had many loose items and these two missing items were not boxed in advance. This was also the case with many clothes and other items. Immediately our truck was searched and the missing items were located. Our position was that the items were simply left behind and no accusations of theft were ever made or employees being fired. This may have occurred since the items were not boxed. Our office has a firm policy that if a customer ever believes that theft was involved we require that a police report be immediately filed. Our records do not indicate a police report was ever filed or theft has occurred. The rules that govern our industry allow 90 days for a claim for loss or missing items to be filed. Our belief that if this particular customer believes foul play was involved they would have quickly made sure all items were delivered. At this point in the interest of goodwill if the customer would like to file a claim for the missing items we will allow them to be filed with our office. Please make sure to include any receipts with the claim form for any missing items.  Claim forms will be mailed to: [redacted] Let us apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Review: I used Hindman Moving for a move in Feb 2015. Within 2 days I discovered Hunting clothes and boots missing. After several calls they were found and returned. At that time I suspected that come hunting season I would discover other items missing as I needed them. A GPS unit and Carhartt' coveralls were found to be missing at that time.

I've called Hindman many times, they agree that they were aware of the initial theft and the man was fired shortly after my move and discovery.I've been promised a call back every time. However, never has anyone called me back. They know that this happened and refuse to address the issue or even talk to me.

Very disappointed in the customer service. .Desired Settlement: I feel that the very least they can do is give me some kind of compensation. .

Review: I have contacted the buisness 4 different times since our Aug, 2015 move, we are missing a box. The day of the move, the truck was loaded but then would not start, so they brought a smaller truck and move the items to our new house with several moves. We think perhaps the box was left on one of the trucks. After first two contacts I was told someone would return my call, no one called. The third call I spoke to a girl named Rouyce, she said she would return my call the following Monday or Tuesday, no one called. The fourth time I called I spoke with Royce's supervisor, he heard my story. He said he would investigate and call me back. He also said he would send me a claim form that day. I have not been called back, I did not receive a claim form. I believe they are ignoring the situation until I give up. This box contained various kitchen items, linens, and all of our silverware. I prefer to have my box returned, but if necessary , I will accept reimbursement so that we can replacement the silverware and other item. I feel I have been given very poor customer service.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for items lost. I would prefer to just have my box returned, but I have very little faith that anyone there has even devoted five minutes time trying to find the missing box. We are totally unpacked, so we are sure it's not here!

We make sure pads are stacked, tools are strapped to the walls and no items from the customers relocation was left in the vehicle. If items are left on the vehicle the customer is then immediately contacted. However our claims department has been made aware of the missing box as well and a claim form for lost and missing items will be sent to your home. Instructions on filing a claim will be enclosed with the forms and information on the process. The forms will be mailed to:[redacted] However in the interest of goodwill and hopes of expediting this matter the claims department has been authorized to make a settlement of $150.00. This would bypass the requirement of providing a receipts and filling out the necessary forms. Please respond and this can be taken care of within the next 5-7 days.
