Mr [redacted] I said all we had to do was sit and talk about it and we could have agreeded agreed to an amount. there was standing water that had flooded your yard where you wanted to build your deck we had multiple days of rain and once we got it drained and dry we set the post dug a 40 ft tranch line... added a sump pit and pump and had to take a process of steps to make sure it was right I was going to come out and out of my own pocket jackhammer the slab that would have made the deck look right I lost a few enployees and tried to make it back out there and its not a one man job you had given us 1300 dollars plus a new down payment of 750 for the sunp pit you have a 200 dollar refund but even then we need to sit down and negotiate it was alot of work and if it wasnt so soaked from where water was standing and washing under you patio slap draining out it could have been done in a day we have pictures of work that was completed and looking over everything you wanted to rush me as you were told I was under a lot of stress loosing workers and not lose the job 200 dollar rebate yes. 1300 off a job that went from 2600 to 3350 would have put me upside down as you had aaked to finish the part you wanted to do. if I would have given the 1000 dollars it would have been doing the work for free just paying for supplies we had purchased I have all docunent evidence and reciepts and would rather a judge look over this case wish you the best. The money I got back for supplies didnt cover the 1000 you wanted and I have the 200 dollar rebate check picture and cash reciept the bank took forever to refund it which is always said to be 3-5 days for a credit card refund you working for [redacted] should know that. I have the original bid and the 750 that was added and agreed to.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]i acknowledge that there were set backs in the project. There was rain and there were drainage issues. The pump was installed and water completely gone by the beginning of June. As of June 3rd, there has not been another day where anyone has been out to the house to do any work. Eric did agree to jackhammer up a concrete slab and remove the debris, however he never showed up to complete that. It was a nice offer but like much of his other statements, there was no action or follow up. Eric wrote me a text on 6/10/17 where he told us that he was going to back off of the project due to staffing issues. He quit the job. Upon him quitting, he told us that "whatever needed to be given would be given I cash". I asked him to look through the invoice and let us know what the refund would be so that we could talk through the amount. He called to let me know that the amount refunded would be $1200 ($1000 from money I had already given him plus $200 from a refund on materials that were purchased). This was a number that HE came up with and told us to expect. When it came time to meet for us to get our refund back, he then told us that he felt like he was giving us too much back and wanted to renegotiate. We were never given an invoice for any materials that were purchased. The lumber that was installed and the quikcrete used were materials that we already had at the house that Eric agreed to use. The only materials purchased by Eric were the sump pump and piping. This experience has been disasters from the beginning. We have 5 weeks of text thread and pictures from Eric to document the gross neglenace from him. All we are looking for is the $1200 that we were told that we should expect as a refund from him. We would also love to see any documentation that he has for materials that were "purchased" for our project.
