Hipp-E Chic

Review: Went to hipp-e chic to have highlights retouched on my hair. The owner of hipp-e chic highlighted/bleached the majority of my hair (which I did not want) and applied bleach to my scalp which is not allowed as this can burn the scalp. When I got home and looked at my hair I could see my hair underneath and on the sides of my face had turned from was originally a nice lightly streaked blond / brown to an " orange color" due to the dye treatment hipp-e chic applied to my hair. The owner damaged my hair severely - brittle/dry in addition to turning it orange. The owner must have known the treatment was wrong and that he ruined my hair. I could not see as my hair was still somewhat wet at the salon and I did not have mirror to see the underside of my hair or check my hair closely. Since it took him over 3 hrs to damage my hair - I was running late and also did not have time to dry hair and insist on checking closely. I realized the problem when I got home and checked in mirror. The following morning I made an appointment to have hair color fixed at another salon that I trusted - I needed it fixed as soon as possible before going to work that day.

I took pictures of my hair when I came home from hipp-e chic (orange) and after I had it fixed by another hair salon. I called the salon manager to let him know that his dye treatment (bleach job) caused my hair to become orange color under the surface layer of hair and on sides (basdically every thing he applied bleach to). - I paid $100 to hipp-e chic and it cost me another $100 to have the orange color removed. The manager of Hipp-e chic said to send pictures which I did via email and he would contact me regarding a refund. He also told me I should have come back to his salon to fix problem - by this pt I do not trust he is able to dye or highlight hair properly since he already has ruined my hair and I did not have 3 + hrs to spend having hair redone. I sent reminder emails and left message on salon answering machine and have not heard back from the manager regarding refund. According to salon I went to to have problem fixed the treatment he applied is not allowed - you do not put bleach on a person's scalp and it was obvious this is what he did. His treatment was incorrect also as my hair turned orange. He spent 3 hrs and could not get a simple highlight donw correctly. I would like a refund. He ruined my hair.Desired Settlement: I would like refund since I had to have hair color corrected - I did not want orange hair . I only wanted highlights retouched which means light brown/blond highlights. I did not want the owner to turn my hair orange or damage it. He should not apply bleach to people's scalps.
