This company is awful!!! Hire to repair refrigerator from leaking water and not cooling the refrigerator at the correct temperature. James came out and claimed he put a new part on the refrigerator. I had the same problem. I called Hire Pro Man back out to repair refrigerator under their 90 days labor and parts warranty. Hire Pro Man did not show for schedule appointment and no call to cancel appointment. I called General Electric and they came out and repaired my refrigerator properly. I am still trying to get my $436.00 back from Hire Pro Man since they did not repair my refrigerator.

I emailed and booked an appointment with appliancerepair.hireproman.com on March 1,1019 to fix my oven. Workman came out and looked at my oven said I need a part. Cost $742.50 for part and labor. Paid them a check. A week later the serviceman came back and put in the part. The serviceman left. The oven didn’t work. He said it could be fixed. They said they would refund me back part of my money. I’ve called them several times and they have told me they would get back to me. I’ve them twice more and I keep getting the same comments. This not a reputable company and would not in anyway refer them to anyone else.

Hello.

Refund of $320 was made upon agreement.

We apologize for any inconvenience, cash and checks payments are not so easily refundable as a credit card ones.

As for the repiar: it was impossible to diagnose the remaining problem without replacing the broken parts.

Which we did. Sorry we couldn't complete the repair.

Sincerely,Max ***Office CoordinatorToll Free: ***San Diego County: ***Los Angeles county:***e-mail: ***@hireproman.comWebsite: https://appliancerepair.hireproman.com

This is an unscrupulous company. See review by Cassie L. From 03/07/2019. I had the same experience with Oleg. He said I needed a new dishwasher pump and wrote an estimate for $339 for the pump. I unwisely agreed. Later I checked the price of the pump through Sears, my dishwasher is a Kenmore, and it was $49. I confronted Oleg about this and he said they only use factory parts. I showed him the website and explained this WAS the factory part. I believe Oleg is incompetent. After he left and I ran the dishwasher, there was water running into the bathroom directly below the dishwasher.
I called the company and Oleg returned to fix it. I asked for a different technician and the dispatcher/owner said he would send another technician to review Oleg's work. That never happened.
This organization operates under several names but uses the same scam by charging significantly more for parts than they cost. A to Z appliance Repair is the same group.

This place is a disgusting ripoff. They had me waiting for a technician for two days, and they just didn’t show up— Three different times! When I called to find out what was going on, they hung up on me, and then blocked my number so I couldn’t get through. I’ve never experienced anything so insane! BEWARE OF THESE CROOKS!!

Alex came out to my girl's home and gave her an estimate on some work that she needed done immediately. The installer was polite and very professional.
I saw the work that was completed and I was satisfied.

A technician from this company, Oleg, came out in response to our service call to fix an LG dishwasher that showed "OE" error and was not draining the water properly. After looking at the dish washer for only 5 minutes (without checking any of the pipes or lines for clogs), he says we need to replace to drain pump. He writes up $350 for the part. When asked why he's charging so much for the part, especially when we saw that Sears parts website had it for $240 for the SUMP unit (and I also verified with Andrew's Electronics, LG recommended parts dealer, sold the same unit for $169.99 + $21 shipping fee). He made excuse about how they only use genuine LG parts and that he will find out whether he can order from Sears from his friend and that he would call me back the next day by 10am. I never heard back from him and he didn't return my texts. He charged us $79 for the service call, took the check, and never came back.
I called another repair technician from a different company today, who actually came and WORKED on my dishwasher- he cleaned the drain lines, he did replace the drain pump, but just the pump for $70 - not like HPM technician who tried to have us replace the entire SUMP unit at a fraudulent fee.
I would like to warn other consumers from this technician's questionable practice from my $79 mistake. Unfortunately, he didn't leave me a copy of the estimate he wrote- he took it with him and only sent me a text message that said my invoice will be sent shortly after being finalized ... but no invoice sent.

I hired HPM appliance repair to repair my broken dryer. For a $79 diagnostic fee, I was told that my dryer needed a new belt and pulley. the quote was $220 worth of repairs (parts and labor) but I was guaranteed that if I paid that amount of money it would be fixed. I was given a 60 day guarantee. When the repair man left, I loaded clothes into the dryer and it still did not work. I called to report the issue. the repairman came back and said that it was not the belt and pulley like he had said, it was actually the motor, and that if pay him $187 ADDITIONAL dollars, he would fix the ACTUAL problem. I pointed out that 1. he diagnosed it incorrectly the first time, costing me $220 for a dryer that doesnt work and 2. $407 would buy me a brand new dryer. when I requested a partial refund for the original $220 to put toward fixing the ACTUAL problem, the company refused and has broken contact with me. I have called several times requesting to speak to a manager to resolve the matter and get a partial refund (i have since had to buy a new dryer) and whoever I speak to says they are the manager, and that they will call me back later.

So we got a call from the customer on Monday Jan 21. Technician was at customer's place the same day ~6pm.

The original descripton of the problem was: "It doesn't spin".

The technician diagnosed the dryer and did find out that the pulley was barely functioning and the belt was about to tear.

He did notice however that the motor will most likely have to be replaced anytime soon. Customer declined the motor change, but agreed to replace the belt and the pulley.

That was done and the dryer was fully functional, it was working and the customer paid for the repair.

We provide 60 days warranty for our job and when the customer called over a week later we did send Tim back an recall.

It turned out that this time it was the motor. Which had nothing to do with our repair. But anyway we didn't charge the customer for the second diagnostics.

So that's the situation. But we are still willing to refund this $220.
