His Master's Chimney Sweep & Cleaning

I paid His Masters to clean my house and chimney for inspection, and it never got done. On February 8th I paid [redacted] of His Masters Chimney Sweep $200 cash to clean my house and chimney to pass inspection by [redacted]. I was leaving that day to go out of town for a while and [redacted] gave me a receipt to ensure it was a legitimate transaction. The receipt guaranteed that I would pass inspection. Being out of town ([redacted]) I wasn't there in person to ensure it got done and called [redacted] to verify a couple times. He stated that "to his knowledge the house got cleaned." Now I have [redacted] calling me stating that the house never got cleaned and the chimney is dirty! Which means these expenses will be taken out of my security deposit. [redacted] claims he will fax them the receipt of my payment and get the chimney cleaned. However I am tired of this run around and would like my money back for a horrible experience and unnecessary stress I've had to deal with. Desired Settlement$200

Paid masters $280 for chimney inspection, steam cleaning home and overall cleaning of home for an inspection which did not pass.When we hired [redacted], from Master Chimney Sweep, we agreed on a price that would cover the cost of a chimney inspection, steam cleaning carpets, and overall cleaning of the house to pass inspection. His exact words were "All you have to do is move out and we will take care of the rest, and if you have some items left in the house we can donate them for you. You don't have to worry about anything else." The inspection date was set for December 29, 2015. The morning of the 29th we called them to make sure everything was taken care of for the inspection at 4pm that day, which was when we found out that they had not touched the house all week. The excuse was that they had an emergency over the weekend and had to rush out of town last minute. Now I can absolutely understand that "life happens" but to be a business person, you would think we would have received a call letting us know so we could could make arrangements accordingly. But that didn't happen we received no call, no text, no email. We had to pay $75 because the inspector came and the house was not ready. The inspector also said we needed to have someone take care of some of the landscaping around the home. So the date was again set for Tuesday (January 5th 2016)the following week. We told [redacted] about the lawn also needing to be done and he told us he would find someone to get it done. During the week [redacted] took the trash and the items that were left behind, out of the house and put it on the front porch. Monday we go to the house to see the progress.. there was none, other then the trash being moved to the porch. We called [redacted] telling him we were concerned because the inspection was tomorrow and he replied " IT WILL BE DONE BY INSPECTION TOMORROW". It was not. And by this time [redacted] is complaining that he does not have a truck to move all of our trash and left over items and tells us that we would need to take care of it ourselves. We had to cancel the inspection again. And since it was a new month we were being charged rent pro-rated of course. The new inspection date was January 12, 2016. We hired someone to take care of the junk sitting on the porch and also had to hire someone else to do the lawn work because [redacted] was not doing anything about it. Finally the weekend before the inspection we were told everything was done. After all 3 re-scheduled inspection dates we still did not pass. [redacted] realty said they had to hire someone to come re-do the carpets and re-clean the home. So all that headache and money spent was for nothing. Desired SettlementI would like to get my money back being as the job was not done correctly and we were guaranteed to pass inspection. I would also like compensation for the additional pro-rated rent we had to pay for all the times [redacted] said it would be done and we had to keep pushing inspection back because it was not done.
