Complaint[redacted] 32 LCD HDTV was purchased at [redacted], 05/18/2014. The screen on this TV went black, and on Feb.3,2015, was taken in to HiTek Electronics for the warranty work. It is now May, so Feb., March, April, to May, the TV has not been returned. I have spent numerous hours trying to find out where it is, and what happened to it, to no avail, until several weeks ago, after telling the receptionist I was contacting the Revdex.com, she called back to say they found in [redacted] at the repair center there. I have not heard back since. I called that center many time, was told to give them a tracking number, which I called HiTek for, called [redacted] back, was told it was the wrong number. I am sure I called regarding the TV to both places at least 20 times, was assured they would get back to me, and only received one call back. [redacted] now, on the 18 of May, the warranty on the TV is up. February, March, April, May. [redacted]Desired SettlementA new replacement TV , with full warranty, and because of the time and the inconvenience, and her lack of a TV, they should upgrade it for her. Business Response [redacted]Unit came in to us 03/24/2015 parts ordered 03/31/15received parts on 04/20/2015 but then had to order another part which was backordered and arrived 05/19/2015 repaired same day the part arrived. Contacted [redacted] and got the warranty extended 3 months as I stated I would try and do for them last week when they were in our office. We have no control over how long parts take and customer was told to contact the manufacturer if they had a complaint. Anyway unit is now repaired and we told [redacted] that the work is completed. Wanted Plasma TV repaired. In the end it was not repairable. cannot get all the bills they say they had to order special parts.to begin repairs with Hitek you have to pay $40-50 upfront before they will begin .they had to order a special "board" for my exact tv specifically to see if it will work. it did not fix it. I asked for ALL RECEIPTS & BILLS for my repair: 'that did not work"to fix it. they did not provide all these special bills for parts they said they had to order to fix my tv. I told them to call me when they had them & I would come & pay. they never called. I called them a few times with no results. I stopped in 3 or 4 times since to pay, but they still have no bills to give to me.[redacted]Desired Settlement[redacted] Provide ALL BILLS you say I owe money for specific to ONLY MY REPAIR & MY TV SPECIFICALLY. He has not provided those bills. [redacted]
