10/25/16 Called for furnace repair and was told its $85 svc fee. Tech arrived 1348hr and left approx.1445hr. Furnace not repaired,no new parts installed and he presented me w/bill for $185 for 1hr labor and svc fee. Furnace is 9yr old and he said it needed a new blower fan. Ran a jumper wire to fan after he left and fan works fine.I believe tech did not know or didn't care to repair furnace or it was to close to quitting time for him to invest the time to locate problem.I have not addressed this with hlavaty managenment and their web page will not accept negative review.I informed I was disabled soc sec and was advised to seek help from county low income assistance to have furnace replaced.So unless you have lots of money or the county is paying Hlavaty,you can forget about good svc (or heat)
Review: Called this company to ask why their bill was so expensive to replace a digital thermostat that was giving the wrong readings and kept our heat pump running constantly in cold weather. The thermostat is still under warranty. They replaced the thermostat and programmed it but we are still having the same problem. The bill came to $180; $ 79 for service call and $101 for programing. I dispute this amount and they have not given me an answer, I have called them four times with no answers and two of the times I was left on hold. My bill is due on Apr. 29, 2013. It was mailed on Apr.19 and I received it on Apr.22. If I don't submit a payment by the due date their will be SERVICE charge. I have had other unsatisfactory issues before with this company they installed the heat pump system in our home.Desired Settlement: Solve the issue with heating problem and reduce the amount they are asking for this bill.
