Company did't deliver training as indicated on website or brochure. Company promised full refund to all students but did not apply, and is harrassingAfter reviewing company website, brochure, email, several discussion with company The VP of sales, [redacted] I sent four employees for "Introductory and Advanced Proposal workshop". I paid for hotel and airfare to send my employees to what was suppose to be a training conducted my a [redacted] trained professional. The training was remedial, outdated and nothing more then a regurgitated version of a [redacted] slide taken form the borchure. The students addressed concerns to the instructor, [redacted] who openly admitted to that he hasn't looked at the website in over a year and did not know what the VP of Sales, [redacted] had promised for the training. He offered all students in the class a full refund which included my four employees and two other students in the class. Two weeks go by and I didn't hear from anyone from that organization. I called and talked to the receptionist, [redacted] and she told me that she was not authorized to give any refund. I left a message for the VP of sales and he did not return my phone call. I sent an email to him and still no response. I then proceeded to call my credit card company to dispute the charge. Two weeks later I wet an email from [redacted] as follows: "I has come to my attention that HLC government Services, Inc. received a chargeback notification for the amount of $2,600.00. The intent of my communication with you is to inform you that HLC is making a demand for repayment and we are working with the credit card processor to recover our funds. We ask that you make arrangements immediately to satisfy this debt and by COB on December, 10 2013 and if not I will go to the court and file a civil complaint against you personally and [redacted] I file with the court I will be seeking not only the $2,600.00 but for full compensatory damages in the amount of four thousand dollars." I attempted to call Mr. [redacted] back three times that day in the presence of 2 of the employees that attend the class, however, the call when to [redacted] & [redacted] I replied back to his email and asked him to send me a phone number to discuss this matter and he replied back thiw the following three emails; "Mrs [redacted],Out of your frier tuck display - I would ask why you sent a seasoned team to this class any way? Your areas we know as we know it the ** and needing business and it comes to no surprise to me that you would take such an action as to get your money back and the Government will not sanction it. *aS are a loss to our society and a waste to the American tax burden/as for so said a [redacted]." and; "[redacted],HLC has drafted it's response to the bank holding the charge back and we will respond accordingly by the due date. In an effort to support our claim I do plan on presenting the clerk of court with a small claims suite against you "Personally" and your company next week and we have gathered supporting documents that will support a claim that will show not only the monies you still owe us but damages as well.I would be open to speaking with you to settle this in a timely manner before we have to draft papers on your four employees to testify before a Judge in this matter." and; "[redacted],And just so you know I have verified this with my Insurance carrier over this and your case will be heard here in [redacted] County NC and [redacted] team has asked me to settle this with you our we will file the necessary papers to resolve this matter if the bank denies our request." and; "[redacted],I understand and respect the fact that you are an ** - however next week as in this up coming Monday HLC will start informing the [redacted] and your [redacted] of the fact that you have taken training to compete with your [redacted] and that was one of the reasons to attend our classes. I will not simply let this go as I have a bad taste in my mouth for [redacted] to start with as they ask for a discount and then simply want there money back.it will not end that.. Desired SettlementMr. [redacted] continues to harass me by email, making false accusations, and threatening to sue me. He did not deliver the training as represented by his company and offered a full refund. I need him to stop harassing me as I have done nothing wrong in this situation and he openly admitted to his incompetence.Business Response [redacted],Did contact us and I did try to resolve the issue and then she disputed the charge with the credit card company and we have since written the money off. If they would not have done that I would have given them a credit for another training class that would have beniffited her company.I have not been in contact with her and have no plans to do so unless she contacts me but I dont see at ths point why she would.Thank You,[redacted]

The president of the company promised to issue refunds to each attendee as everyone was dissatisfied with the training class. The refund was never issued and HLC was unresponsive when trying to contact so I disputed the charge with my credit card provider. After getting the credit from my provider, HLC fought to get the money back. I recently opened a second dispute.Product_Or_Service: Training classDesired SettlementThe $900 refund for the training course, as promised by the president of the company. Business Response Mr. [redacted] did attend the two day class here in Durham, NC and decided own his own accord to leave early - therefore HLC Government Services, LLC will not issue a refund.We are working with the credit card company and if they find in his favor we will pursue legal action in a NC Court of Law.

This company took $1500.00 out of our account without authorization.Our company hired [redacted] to help our company with GSA certification in January of 2014. We paid this company $4295 for an GSA Schedule lab in January of 2014. Then in March of 2014 we paid this company $1800 for what an invoice says is "GSA post submission - Service after the fact," but we never submitted to GSA because unfortunately the work on it got stalled. We started work on it again later that year but again couldn't complete it. We hadn't contacted Mr.[redacted] again since about January of 2015 when on October 15, 2015, his company took $1500.00 out of our bank account without our authorization or knowledge. When we tried to contact him about a refund and to find out what all of our payments went towards he directed us to his legal team. Desired SettlementWe would like to know what the payments we made were for exactly and would like a refund for the $1500 he took without authorization. Business Response Many don't even know what a GSA Schedule is and unlike a regular Federal Proposal they don't have a due date. The development process is very in depth and requires a lot of skill. Mr [redacted] did hire us to develop a GSA Schedule and one of his employees at tented a work shop and the work was not completed by that employee. Our written agreement says that more charges will occur if that happens. So through the course of over a year they continued to try and would stop and start. When this happens Modifications from the Government occur and we have to keep going back and doing more work to keep the work fresh. Our agreement also states that we can charge for that and that is what we did. I would still work with this client if they are serious about finishing the work that is left to complete in a timely manner. Al of this is carefully documented in e-mails and by way of a written contract. And we did not take money from his bank account it was from a credit card on file with his signature allowing recurring charges. And then he did a charge back and my employees have been paid for their time.
