The owner of the business came on a Thursday and I was told he would be here on Monday to redo flooring in bathroom. The job I was told would be a half day work and would be 800.00. He did not show up on Monday and told me he lost his phone. He came on Tuesday two hours late and ripped up my floor. He said he would be back, he did not come back. He came back on Wednesday with his girlfriend to help. They put the flooring partially and the toilet on blocks. He was supposed to come back again. He didn’t, Thursday of that week he did an hour of work. He ran out of supplies he said he would be right back. He didn’t return, I called his phone it was turned off, he later let me know that night he was arrested. I just wanted the job done for the safety of my children. He said he would be there Friday morning at 10, he didn’t show up, texted me that he was running late and would be there at 12 to finish the job. Didn’t show up, he later texted me saying if I wanted to go with someone else on a Friday afternoon. He then texted my mistakenly he needed drugs then apologized it was meant for someone else. He left my bathroom a mess. I would like my 400 dollars I paid him when I had to have someone else come and fix his work.
