Review: We requested a water heater repair service and the rep did confirm that they do work on commercial water heaters. The company tech showed up and reconfirmed that he does work on commercial water heaters. The tech diagnosed the water heater and advised us to get few parts replaced. We received a bill for the initial service which we paid and then we bought the parts as well suggested by the tech in a hope that this will be the solution since its being suggested by an expert. The tech installed the new parts later but it didn't resolve the issue. The tech finally gave up on it and asked us to contact the manufacturer to figure out. We received two more bills later for the issue which wasn't resolved even after doing what the tech suggested. In addition to this we had the same company repair our sewage pipe. When we placed the service call we requested an estimate for the repair. The rep quoted us $120/hr as the labor charge over the phone so we expected the bill to be around $1000 maximum. Before the techs started the repair at the site, we tried to get a confirmed repair cost again from the techs but nothing was confirmed to us. Later when we received the bill it was over $4000. We were charged at $135/hour for 18 man hours plus for tech's clothes and boots. We were billed overtime for three techs for six hours each when nothing like this was quoted to us. We weren't told there will be three techs working on this small repair. Plus, there wasn't any work done for the first three hours at all. The techs on site were smoking and chilling waiting for their equipment to show up. We do have the pictures of the work performed as well and clearly it wasn't a three man job for six hours each. We contacted the company to discuss the invoice and the rep was super rude. She said "We are not going to loose it and will take it to the court". After that she hung up without even discussing further. The next day the tech who worked on our issues previously called and said the same thing "[redacted] doesn't loose and we have a lawyer in the family". Clearly this company has no customer service and It seems like they bill for services not completed or else just overbill.Desired Settlement: For water heaters, we think we should not be liable for anything else since the company failed to resolve the issue. For sewage pipe repair, the bill should be adjusted to reflect what is reasonable and what was quoted ie. $120/hr. for one tech for maximum six hours (even though the tech only worked for 3 hours).
