H.O.A. / Home Owner Assistance, L.I.

In September 2011, [redacted] from Home Owner Assistance L.I., [redacted], who claims to work for a real estate/bank investor buying properties in risk of foreclosure. She accepted an application and $2190 from us to start the short sale process. She claimed the monies were a requirement of her bank. Up to date, she has done nothing and she does not answers our requests to refund our monies, as our property is already in the courts going through foreclosure, after many attempts asking her to make her short sale offer to the bank. I strongly believe she is committing fraud using people at their worst financial situations. I have heard that she is now taking $4000 with the application with the promise of a short sale buyer, or mortgage loan modifications.
