My car window was smashed in and my purse stolen with all my IDs, etc [redacted] sent me to Hodges for the window replacement Left my car @ 10:a.mon Wednesday Was told it would only take a day The following day I was told it would be ready around 4:or 4: Got a ride from work and was dropped off at 4:only to be told that the person who had to "tint" the window would be there @ 4:and it wouldn't take long That person never showed until 5: I sat there all that time waiting for something that should have been done as soon as the window was installed In addition, I explained in the beginning that I had no credit/debit cards (since they had been stolen) and was told that "yes" I could write a check for my deductible When I started to write the check, I was told that they don't accept personal checks and I would have to go to the bank and get cash or a cashier check and come back the next day They are very inefficient and could care less whether they inconvenience anyone or not Plus, the [redacted] rep in residence was rude and very self-important

I would not recommend this place on a betThey worked on my vehicleIt was ready a week later than promised, and had white sticky residue all around the black window trim The porter claimed "they did not notice it" Two weeks later, I noticed a rattle from my trunk area Upon inspection, I found that several components, (including the jack), were missing from the spare tire well The rattle was the result of the missing parts, not securing the tire in place I notified the service rep, and of course, they could not locate the missing parts Ultimately, they did locate the jack, but the other parts were not found What kind of respectable facility sends a customer home with extra/missing parts sitting on a bench somewhere The service Manager, (David ***), said "with so many vehicles this sometimes happens" Leaving parts off of a vehicle should NEVER happen The receptionists asked " if I planned to bring my next vehicle to them for repair"? REALLY ?

I am writing in response to the above mentioned complaint ID.
 
It is in no way our common practice of customer service that Ms. [redacted] experienced with our company at any of our locations. I can guarantee this was a unique incident and would like to express our sincerest apologies to Ms. [redacted] for the customer service she received at our Magnolia, TX location. Hodges Collision did in fact agree to reimburse her for the $51.65 that her insurance company did not agree to pay her for for the delays in repair at our shop (please see copy of check stub attached).
 
On the advice of Ms. [redacted], management and myself, the owner, have spoken to and reprimanded [redacted] about the customer service he had shown her and is now in the process of being coached on a more thorough level to ensure no other customer of ours experiences the same level of service again.
