Review: I had a roof replacement by Hoffman Homes in spring 2013. Since then I have had numerous roof leaks. The contractor came over several times to repair these, but was not successful in fixing the problems. Poor construction quality and incorrect installation caused ice damming for the past 2 winters, which led to extensive interior water damage. I had to file a homeowners insurance claim, and the recent interior repair exposed roof areas that Hoffman had covered up instead of repairing.
This original roof replacement has led to very expensive renovations, which would not have been necessary if proper workmanship had been used.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the complete amount of $9,200 that I paid to Hoffman for their roof repairs. I have now paid well more than this original amount in re-repairs and renovations due to the damage caused by defective construction.
