Hoffman Restoration LLC

Hoffman Restoration LLC came out and installed steps and a shower for us. While we were very happy with the steps, the shower is a contrastingly different situation. The shower was not completed in the time listed in the scope of work, and when tile work was considered done it looked like an amateur did the work. The grout lines are not the same width, the outlining tile for an alcove stick out differently on all sides, and the pebbled floor grout work is so inconsistent that it puddles in different places. The puddles will continue having water 36 hours after the shower was used. The curb for the shower door actually drained out initially. We had them come out and change the pitch on the curb and address the pooling. It took them almost 2 weeks to come out and they came out twice. The curb is now pitched properly but the pooling still exists especially around the drain. There is a ¼” of water around the drain. After asking about it they claimed they have done all they can and we would need to have a flat floor. While it was apparent they added some grout for the pooling, it was also apparent the drain wasn’t touched like we were told. Buyer beware, while their work may look good from a distance, our experience was that up close the workmanship was not very professional.
