I was pretty sour on the entire HVAC service industry as a 20+ year homeowner with negative opinions of the two firms we had been utilizingOnce we tried Hoffman Brothers, we realized that we found something different than what we had been through and we couldn't be happier If you go through an internet search or flip through the yellow pages, I'm sure you can find someone cutting price and offering a cheaper deal than you might find here, but in the long run, if quality, honesty, diligence and on-time performance are important to you, I am certain you'll be happy with Hoffman I have recommended them to friends and family, and have absolutely no concern that they'll make me regret that decisionThis review is unsolicited

Had a Ac unit installed in Jan Ran great for year Summer of 2014(Jun) began having problems with the unit Sure the equipment was still under warranty buy the labor was not (1yr labor warranty) on a purchase Very unsatified with the customer service and help they offered me Which was none Had several maintenance calls made and the bottom line is they put a bandage on a bigger problem.....Finally after several pleas with the manufacturer They stood up and took responsibility for my issues and they paid Hoffman and Brothers for my repairs Hoffman and Brothers left me hanging hi and dry I am very dissappointed with hiring them for my Ac and Heating needs

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/11/09) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] PL Manager Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @hoffmannbros.com Hoffmann Brothers did not supply the original fixture that failedThe customer called and asked us to repair a leaking fixtureThe customer paid our trip/diagnosis fee and we ordered the partsWe attempted to get the cartridge and handle under warrantyThe cartridge was shipped but the handle was not shippedWe were unaware that the acquisition of Grohe by American Standard would delay shipment of partsAny contact made by us with the manufacturer was relayed to client when it was known and his job continued open for follow upWe contacted the client and apologize for the delay and explained what we learned about the acquisition and that they were hoping to have all back orders filled by the end of the yearWe contacted our Rep and explained the situation and we were able to get a similar replacement faucet under warranty as soon as possibleWe gave the client the options and sent over the faucet picture/detailsUnfortunately the client did let us know that they already had it done by another contractorHoffmann Brothers did notify the client that we are refunding to them the trip/diagnosisAgain, we are sorry we could not meet this client's needs

We are sorry Mrs *** is not satisfied with our workHer claims are factually incorrectWe completed her work in a quality mannerShe has a slab home and 35’ of her sewer pipe needed to be replaced requiring removing the flooring, jackhammering the floor and digging up the pipeWe also had to
remove and reset the wash machine, vanity and toiletThe flooring replacement was to be by othersAfter the rough inspection was finalized we called her numerous times to finish the jobThe only work remaining was to reset the existing vanity and existing toiletShe called us only to claim we broke her wash machineDuring our visit we found out she hired an unlicensed person who installed a new vanity, reinstall the toilet, and hook the washer back upThe work done by the unlicensed person does not meet codeThe vanity she purchased was the wrong sizeUnless this is corrected we can’t finalize our permit Mrs *** did not respond to our repeated requests to remedy the situation so we canceled our permitConcerning the wash machine we found it was leaking internallyThe wash machine was not installed or provided by usWe had nothing to do with it leaking and Ms *** knows thisMs *** was paid by the insurance company and never paid us other than the down paymentThis Revdex.com complaint is the first time she complained about the vanity being damagedShe has never mentioned this to usMs *** received a letter from a collections attorney just prior to her sending this complaintWe explained the situation with the recessed concrete to Ms ***It is better for us to pour the new concrete slightly lower and have the flooring people use a leveling compound to get a flat surfaceThis is a typical construction practiceWe offered Ms *** that if she purchased the correct size vanity we would come out and reinstall it and correct the code mistakes for no additional costsOur offer still stands but she must pay the balance due upon completion of this work. They stood up and took responsibility for my issues and they paid Hoffman and Brothers for my repairs. Hoffman and Brothers left me hanging hi and dry. I am very dissappointed with hiring them for my Ac and Heating needs.

Plumber John with Hoffmann Brothers was absolutely a consummate professional in every way. He problem-solved a very tricky situation, and addressed the issue without a single drop of water being spilled in my home! In addition, he was pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend John and Hoffmann Bros.

I have helping my sister restore our family home. I found some electrical issues that needed immediate attention. I contacted Hoffman Brothers Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical. Joe an electrician came out and repaired the wiring to an outdoor light. He also repaired and replaced a light switch that would spark when turned on. I ask questions whenever work is done for me or my sister. Jo answered all of my questions and did a very good job in repairing the light and the switch. He was very polite and professional. If more electrical work will be done I will request Joe to do it. Good company.
