July 19, 2015Dear Revdex.com:This letter is in response to *** ***’s complaintIn my years, I have had only complaints, all resolved in my favorThe last one was in 2007.My small business has over customersI have served the ***'s for years, installing/maintaining
their system with annual inspections & service calls when neededI try hard to detect potential problems to solve them early.I never had the keypad problem the ***s faced (two panic buttons shorting), Faced with a faulty keypad that continued to trigger police panic alarms, the stepwise solution was to locate the alarm box in the house (by the washer), open it up and turn the system off with the flip of one buttonCall the Central Station and place the system "on test." Then call me and leave a message in mailbox one (which mentioned that day, June 17, I was in required industry training, and I would return calls right after the course was over )I explain these steps to all my customers at the time of installation.On June 17, I was at the *** County/*** State Police Barracks taking a REQUIRED course to maintain my alarm business license through the Department of Criminal Justice ServicesAs soon as the hour course was over, I checked my voice mail system to find Mrs*** had left numerous messages and I immediately return her calls.Changing my voice mail system : with over customers to take care of, too many would use my cell phone if that were an optionWhen I am with customers, I devote my full attention to them & do not allow cell phone interruptionsI have mailed my customers magnets with a list of my phone numbers & the Central Station's phone numberThe numbers have also appeared in my newslettersI routinely modify & improve my voice mail system to handle the needs of everyone who may call meI am again reviewing the system to be even more responsive.I will certainly pay the alarm fines the ***s receive, an important element of my maintenance plan they haveI stand behind my systems fullyI PREFER to pay fines to show Police how my company DOES CARE about alarms.I would like to continue providing alarm system maintenance coverage to the ***s and would be happy to meet with them, replace the defective keypad at no charge, and show them how to shut down the alarm system.Sincerely,Louis H., President
