Hofman Properties

I am a current Tenant with Hofman Properties. My rent is $550.00. I sent in $500.00 for September rent and included a note that said I would send in the remaining $50.00 + late fee the following month. September 26, 2013 I mailed in the complete rent for October ($550.00). Friday September 27, 2013 I received a call at my place of employment from [redacted]. While on the call with [redacted] he used very vulgar language with me stating " This is not a [redacted] babysitting company and he want his [redacted] money or I will have to find my [redacted] some where to stay. I politely replied, "Excuse me, don’t call my job about this matter I have a cell phone that I can be reached at." He went on to say "I called your cell phone and left a message a few minutes ago if you send my [redacted] money I wouldn’t have to call you. I stated, "you need to watch that profane language with Me." he said," don’t tell me what to watch and you need to send me my [redacted] money and hung up in my face.

Yes the fifty dollars was not included with the Octobers rent but is this really a way that you talk to a tenant? Where was the RESPECT? I was furious with the situation; the property is very nice but is this how a tenant should be talked to when only FIFTY dollars short on rent. ?
