When *** initially contacted us about the move to ***, we gave him an exact cost analysis of what it would cost base on an estimation of volume and weight of his shipmentIt is always stated in our estimations that the final price
will always reflect the actual weight and or size of shipment based on a measurement of pound per cubic feet When our movers arrived at ***'s residence we found that he had more of a payload than he initially stated so we had to adjust the price accordinglyWe simply prorated his cost based on what he actually shipped When we arrived at the drop-off destination *** initially refused the shipment due to the increased cost and at this point our loading team measured the load several times to show *** the reason for the increased cost was that the load was larger than initially stated*** did not believe us and still refused to take the load so we locked up the truck and leftAfter our company reinitiated contact with *** we stated that we could not keep his load with us and that we would reduce the price by $*** to get him to take it and he agreedAs far as ***' complaint about us using inflated numbers to estimate volume, we will send you a copy or email of the industry standard list of weights and cubic foot measurements to calculate the volume and price of a loadIn regards to damage coffee and end tables *** already had all his furniture wrapped in plastic and bubble wrap The legs are normally remove from sucks items during mov but we could not because he had pre wrapped them for shipment The legs were already loose we could tell just by handling and pointed this out to him that all he had to do was tighten the legs up They were simply loose from what we could tell through the plastic and bubble wrap ***

About volume/pricing
In ***'s email of 2*** it's clearly stated 'For *** pounds and or *** cubic feet ( size of shipment based on pounds per cubic foot ) your cost will be $ *** plus hst'
The way your guys measured was just standing on top of half loaded truck at dark night, trying to stretch from side to sideHow do I know the stuff on the truck were all mine?
My stuff are really limited and I don't even have a bed
Below are the actual size I measured piece by piece after unloading:

Can you tell me what should be charged if it's*** cubic foot only? Should it be less than *** quoted?
Broken table
It was not wrapped by me, but by the moversCan you imagine a single adult wrapping a big coffee table as a professional mover?
Since I got no response from *** after the moving, I hired a local repair expert at $**/hourHowever, the base of table was broken and the conclusion was unrepairable.The report and invoices he submitted can be provided for cross reference
The table was purchased brand new in ***The legs were good before movingNow they're still lying in my basement
After all, I didn't see any sincerity from the owner trying to solve this complaint.***

for moving services is a GENERIC 5-inch paper slip with NO details/list regarding items moved,weight of said items, $$ amount per pound, taxes, etcand bears NO PHYSICAL RESEMBLANCE to the 5-page ORIGINAL receipt actually bearing my signature and signed by me on *** with an employee of Tottens Moving
