Hohmann's Plaza Laundromat Reviews (2)

To Whom it may concern, In response to the complaint about our dryerWe have been in this location for fifteen years (15) and have never had any reports filed on us, I think the main reason is that we are not open 24hrs, we are open 7am to 9pm and always have an attendant on duty We have been commended for having one the cleanest and well maintained Laundromats aroundThere are big signs on the walls that states attendants are on duty and are~ permitted to give out refunds That being said here is our side of what happenedApparently the person put clothes in two (2) dryers and towels in the third dryer, when the dryer shut down from the money that was put in, the dryers with a reasonable amount of clothes were thy, the towels were not, that’s when the person came to the attendant and said there was something wrong with the dryerThe attendant lookd at the dryer with the towels and asked how much money they had put in because there were too many towels in the dryer and the dryer was working because the towels were warmThe persons said they put in same amount in all dryers and that the other dryers contents were dryThe attendant explained the towels would take longer to dry because they a heavier and that there to many in the dryerThis is when the person became irate and started using abusive language towards the attendant and demanded their money back , not just for the money for one dryer in question but for all the money that they spentThe attendant pointed to the sign and said I can’t give any refunds, but you leave your name and phone number the owner will check the machine, review the security tapers, and if there was a problem he would call and refund the money but only for the one dryer in questionThe persons then become totally irate and started swearing and started disturbing other customersThe person said that they were going to call the police and say that they were robbed by us, just then the Monroeville police pulled in the lot to turn around as we are at the end of the Monroville line, the attendant said here is your chance, would you like me the have them come in? The persons refused, and said that they would go to the magistrate and sue us The total amount that was put in the dryers was cents each which equals minutes, you can’t expect a load of heavy overloaded towels to dry in minutesAfter checking machine and reviewing the tapes there was nothing wrong with the macrifilter We have a top of the line, clean, well maintained, and updated facility and go to great lengths to service our clienteleIf the person would have been reasonable and polite and not abusive, this whole episode could have been avoided

To Whom it may concern,
In response to the complaint about our dryerWe have been in this location for fifteen
years (15) and have never had any reports filed on us, I think the main reason is that we
are not open 24hrs, we are open
7am to 9pm and always have an attendant on duty
We have been commended for having one the cleanest and well maintained Laundromats
aroundThere are big signs on the walls that states attendants are on duty and are~
permitted to give out refunds
That being said here is our side of what happenedApparently the person put clothes in
two (2) dryers and towels in the third dryer, when the dryer shut down from the money
that was put in, the dryers with a reasonable amount of clothes were thy, the towels
were not, that’s when the person came to the attendant and said there was something
wrong with the dryerThe attendant lookd at the dryer with the towels and asked how
much money they had put in because there were too many towels in the dryer and the
dryer was working because the towels were warmThe persons said they put in same
amount in all dryers and that the other dryers contents were dryThe attendant
explained the towels would take longer to dry because they a heavier and that there to
many in the dryerThis is when the person became irate and started using abusive
language towards the attendant and demanded their money back , not just for the money
for one dryer in question but for all the money that they spentThe attendant pointed to
the sign and said I can’t give any refunds, but you leave your name and phone number the
owner will check the machine, review the security tapers, and if there was a problem he
would call and refund the money but only for the one dryer in questionThe persons then
become totally irate and started swearing and started disturbing other customersThe
person said that they were going to call the police and say that they were robbed by us,
just then the Monroeville police pulled in the lot to turn around as we are at the end of
the Monroville line, the attendant said here is your chance, would you like me the have
them come in? The persons refused, and said that they would go to the magistrate and sue
us
The total amount that was put in the dryers was cents each which equals minutes,
you can’t expect a load of heavy overloaded towels to dry in minutesAfter checking
machine and reviewing the tapes there was nothing wrong with the macrifilter
We have a top of the line, clean, well maintained, and updated facility and go to great
lengths to service our clienteleIf the person would have been reasonable and polite and
not abusive, this whole episode could have been avoided
