The *** contacted us with concerns about the repairs we preformed on there Suburban stating the rust was reappearing Upon inspecting the vehicle I had the customer point out the areas they were concerned aboutI then told Mrs *** I would get back to her , when speaking with Mr *** at a
latter date I explained to him that at this time we were not doing any rust repairs do to the fact we were so busy with collision repairs .We then offered to pay a pottion of the repairs if they would select a shop and have the repairs completedThen Mr *** said "I would like a cash refund or I will turn you in to the Revdex.com ,the DeptOf Commerce aslo take me to small claims court."At this I told Mr *** we do not offer cash refunds also the the repairs are plus mounths old.About a week later Mr *** called and asked if we would reconcider the cash refund Itold him no however I told him we would more than happy to address the concerns they have and correct them Mr *** saidhe would have to talk it over with his wife because he believed his wife wanted a cash regund I remi ded we do not offer cash refunds he said he would call me back.When he called me back he stated it was as he though his wife didnt want the repairs corrected instead she wanted a cash refund , I once again offered to correct there concerns with the repairs and he declined He said he would have to report me
I am rejecting this response because:
Here is the truth and main pointYou never once, discussed how long the rust work could last with myself or my wifeIf you would have told us it could last only a year or two we would have NEVER had the work doneI'm not stating you ever gave a impression so understand thisI'm saying you never discussed how long it could last with either of us, period, or we wouldn't be here today discussing itThank you for admitting you did not state it was not guaranteed on any invoice or receipt, this will helpFinally, you specifically told myself when we were looking at the hitch portion of the work, "this hitch will never rust now", as you put some kind of black (rhino liner type stuff) on it and were quite proudThis is a fact, you told me this, and the other fact is, it IS rusting as well
I don't know how to make this any more clear, you never discussed how long the rust work would last, everAlso, I told you after you offered to redo the work (which would be insane to do since it didn't last hardly a year the first time) I would discuss with my wife and get back to you, I did not tell you I wanted the work redone, please forward my voice mail stating this
