Holey Donuts Reviews (3)

Review: I placed an order for donuts on 2/**/15. I have ordered from this company many times, no issues. When I did not receive my product, I emailed them. The cost was 191.00 including shipping cost. I did not receive a reply. After 24hours, I called them and left a message. Still no reply. My second email was responded to in a rude manner. Customer service stated that they did respond to the first email I sent with a delivery date 2/**./15. I did not rec. my donuts. If I did why would I email them again. This is the first issue that I ever had with them. I wish to have a refund. I can't believe they would treat a good customer for the past several years in such a shoddy manner.

Thank You

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund

Review: I contacted the company numerous times in February, March and April 2013 by hitting the unsubscribe button. Finally on May **, 2013 I emailed the address sending the emails as well as hit the unsubscribe button again. In the email I stated the following: I have personally I unsubscribed from your emails a minimum of 15 times and I am still getting them. I know this is against the law so if you don't fix this immediately, I will be contacting an attorney. Please respond. I received a reply that day stating that I will be removed, The representative was extremely rude in their response. Since then I still continue to receive emails. I emailed again today, September *, 2013 stating the following: I would love to know exactly what is your policy on unsubscribing for customers who continuously request it because I am going to report this company. On May [redacted] I AGAIN requested to be removed (see below) and I received a reply apologizing (rudely I might add….) and AGAIN I am receiving emails every day, sometimes numerous times in one day. This is ABSOLUTLEY UNNACCEPTABLE AND I WILL BE REPORTING THIS COMPANY. Not only did I email the below email and get a reply in May, I continuously hit the unsubscribe button of which nothing has been done. I would like to know who the president of this company is (name, address and phone). I am still awaiting a reply and action to this email.Desired Settlement: If this is not settled immediately along with an apology letter, I will contact an attorney to resolve this SPAM issue.

Review: I signed up for the holeydonut.net mailing list a while back and after getting their emails for quite some time I came to the realization I would not be purchasing from them and attempted to unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of the email. Weeks or months would go by with out hearing from them, then I would get another email. I would hit unsubscribe and start the process over again. In January of this year I got so fed up with this that I started reporting them for spam. I emailed every address I could find for the company including their host and finally got a response from [redacted] who apologized and promised to remove me personally from the mailing list. He blamed the repeated emails on an outside company. In April of this year I got another email from this company. I once again reported them for spam and emailed the company. I got another email from [redacted] who apologized again and blamed the new company he contracted for his mailing list. Today I have yet another email from them. This has GOT to stop. there needs to be some sort of recourse for this company to realize this is not right.Desired Settlement: I would very much like for Holey Donut and [redacted] in particular to take this seriously. In April I attempted to contact them via their facebook page regarding being spammed and my post was deleted and I was immediately blocked from posting or contacting them again. This is a fineable offence if I wished to pursue this legally: Violations can result in enforcement action against you by the FTC or by ISPs. Remedies include injunctive relief, disgorgement of profits, and actual damages or statutory damages or fines of $250 per violation, whichever is greater, with each unlawful message to each recipient being a separate violation. Statutory damages can go as high as $2 million. Certain fraudulent activities and repeat offenses include the possibility of imprisonment for three to five years. and as such at this point I have three obvious violations (sadly I didn't keep track of the multitude of other instances after my first unsubscribe request) I want them to take this seriously. I want to get taken off the mailing list and I want to not be emailed again .. not three months down the road, not three years down the road. and if they really want to make me happy they can make a donation to a local animal shelter..
