Review: I purchased a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd on 3-2-2013 from Holiday Automotive. I was told it had a clean Auto check report and that they use Auto check because it is more accurate than Carfax. Recently I decided to upgrade to a diesel truck and when I tried to trade it in I was told the Carfax was bad because of a accident and they would not give me anywhere near the value of the the truck. I contacted Holiday Automotive with the problem, again was told Autocheck is more accurate and their only solution is for me to wait until they get a truck in on trade that I am looking for. I cannot sit around and wait, it could be months. When I asked if they would buy it back or if there was another solution I was told "no". The Holiday certified pre-owned flyer they give out with purchases is a crock. I wouldn't doubt they ran both Carfax and Autocheck and used Autocheck because it was better for them. You can't tell me a dealer that has 145 million plus in sales doesn't use Carfax.Desired Settlement: Take vehicle back or pay me the difference in trade value.

Two dealers told me 30k on trade then after running the vin on Carfax 25k was the best they could do

To whom this may concern:

I went to Holiday to get a car, the car I went to go see was a Ford Edge & the engine was full of sand. I decided to look for a different car there but was running out of time for the day. I wanted to get the paper work started just to make sure I can even get approved for a car there. They failed to let me know I would need to bring proof of address & paystubs from my job of course I lived far away so I didn't have any of that with me. A few days later I was approved so I went back on line & was looking at car on the lot. About a week later we were back in Fond du lac to get a car that I liked. Long story short I had $1,500 to use as a down payment found a Ford Fusion 07 I loved there was 1 problem on the dash right below the air bag that wasn't properly glued down. When I asked Alex (the salesmen)about them fixing it he said something like that they can't touch because if the airbag didn't deploy it would make them at fault. Not really thinking about this again I went on to did all the final paper work handed the cash over one of the salesmen Alex had my car in the garage & was doing last minute detailing & some how he crashed my car into the garage door backing my car out denting the front bumper & front fender. Yes the first thing I said was that they have to fix it I will not be taking a car off the lot that has damage. They had to order the parts that were damaged from Alex& was looking to get my car by the next weekend but we needed to get home then & needed a car for the week so they put us in an intrepid that ended up spewing smoke & oil about 20miles aways from the lot so we had to turn around & go back to get a different car. By this time I was DONE like was threw to much for the day & just wanted to get home & now. They sent us on our way in a Chrysler 200 had that car for 2 weeks before my car was done the second week of not having my car they found that the rear ailment was off & they wanted to fix it. During this time I called to talk to the general manager who was very rude to me. I was in the process of telling him what had happened & he cut me off & said in a rude tone "I know all about this I was here." ( to me if he was there why didn't he come out of his office to introduce himself anything to me ) When I asked if there was anything the company can do for any type of compensation he said "You don't have to get your car here." I was in shock that a GM would say that to me I told him that I don't understand why not if his employee did the damage to my car & got off the phone with him. The next day I called back to talk to Scott who was easy to talk to & was actually looking to help me. He said he was sorry for the inconvenience & wanted to give me some gas cards $75.00 in gas cards & one of the guys would be able to drive my car to Baraboo & take back the rental. Yes great but that dont seem enough I didn't get any amount taken off the car nothing for compensation

Review: I recently bought a salvaged title vehicle in Aug of 2013. When I first went into Holiday Automotive to see this car it looked very nice. I was allowed to take this vehicle for a 24 hour test drive and come back the next day to talk about it. I decided I would like to purchase the 2008 Mazda 3. I believe the final price was around $7500. I was speaking to a sales person by the name of [redacted]. I was told the vehicle had 36560 miles on it and that it was a salvage title. The salvage title scared me so, I started asking questions about the accident it was in. The only thing they would tell me is that it was in a front end collision and he was deemed a complete loss by the insurance comany. After much consideration I decided to buy the vehicle. There was an agreement to fix the brakes along with the loose bumper. When I picked the vehicle up a couple days later everything seemed normal. After about a week of driving the brakes on the vehicle sounded the same as before as if they never did anything to them. The first time I drove at night I noticed the headlights where no shining on the road they were shinning to the left and right of the road. I took the vehicle in to a local shop in [redacted] to have the headlights adjusted and they told me the headlights were broken and they could not adjust them. I called the [redacted] multiple times about the issue and left several messages even offereing to pay for them to be fixed and I never got a response. Today 4-13-2015 I was at a local dealer seeing how much I could get for the Mazda to maybe purchase a new vehicle. They then told me they would only give me $1000 because the title of the vehicle on car fax stated the odometer is not the correct milage. This was the first time I was made aware of this issue. I would have never purchased the vehicle if the odometer was not correct. I then looked at the physical paper copy of the title that is in the vehicle an it states the odometer is exact and it does not have the incorect reading box checked as an option. This was the last straw for me putting up with Holiday AutomotiveDesired Settlement: I would like to find out what the milage is on my vehicle. I would also like to find out why I was not made aware of this issue before I purchased the vehicle. I would not have made the purchase. I would at the very least like my headlight assembly replaced on the vehicle on the passenger and driver side. I would at most like a refund for the vehicle because of the false information that was presented to me.

Review: We leased a 2013 Ford F150 from Holiday Automotive with the intention that there would be no issue with turning that lease into a loan after owning the vehicle for a year. In the process of trying different banks, and credit unions we were informed that the price we owed would be higher then what we were currently paying. Holiday Automotive informed us that there would be no problem with doing that so they only gave us the lowest mileage that Ford would offer. We would not have to worry about mileage because we would be purchasing this vehicle before the lease was up. Well, unfortunately due to being over 17,000 plus miles and already owing $2500.00 to Ford for mileage it was in the best option to just turn the vehicle back and pay off what I owed. When we went back into the dealership to go over our best options they were only concerned about making money so what they informed us was to come back when the lease was up so we could bury the outstanding into a new vehicle and start all over. That is the last time my husband and I will ever buy from Holiday Automotive and what makes me really mad is that I am paying on a vehicle that I don't even have anymore.Desired Settlement: To only owe the remaining balance what was owed.

Not to pay the mileage balance seeing that Holiday said it would be no problem refinancing.

Any wear and tear seeing that we were informed no problem refinancing.
