Holiday City Auto Sales

Complaint3 days of dealing, bought a truck for $4700 and after the deal was done my salesman call me back sayings his boss said he sold the truck $1000 to lessThe salesman[redacted] and I talked over the phone on Monday sept. 15th , and discussed that he could sale this truck for $4700 plus tax and tags. The next day sept.16th I went to see the truck, drove it and liked it. As I was outside looking the truck over he went in and typed up a bill of sale to give to my credit union. The bill of sale has $4700 + tax +tags which came up to $5226.00. He himself handed me this copy. I took it straight to the credit union and handed it to the person I was dealing with. The next morning sept. 17th the credit union called me to inform me that my wifes name had to be added to the bill of sale. At this time I called[redacted] and told him that, and he had another copy faxed to the credit union. Now on Thursday morning sept. 18th my wife and I went to the credit union to close the deal. Ms.[redacted] the person I was dealing with notice that the copy they faxed over only had my wifes name. So I called[redacted] and told him that both names had to be on the bill of sale. He then had a third bill of sale typed up and faxed over. This one was right, both names $4700 + tax + tags = $5226.00. Ms. [redacted] closed us out, handed me the check and we headed to pick up the truck. Got to the office where the truck was, went in, my wife and I signed all the paperwork, 3 copys of the bill of sales, the back of title and all. Handed the check over to[redacted] and he looked at it and said, "ok you put your taxes and tags all in the check, thats good"! Gave me the keys and paperwork and we took the truck. About 2 to 3 hours later[redacted] called me and said he had screwed up, his boss had looked over the numbers and he had sold the truck for $1000 less than his boss wanted. Now they are holding my tags and the credit unions title saying that I have to pay the $1000 more. But for 3 day we discuss $4700 and that what he sold it to me for. Its a 2005 [redacted] reg cab pickup, Desired SettlementI refuse to pay $1000 more for a mistake that the salesman made not knowing how much to sale his boss cars for. I just want my tags and my credit union wants there title!
