Regarding the complaint that has been filed, ID #[redacted], we respond as follows. The rental term for the ice unit was an annual fee. After having the box for 1 year, the customer did not meet our minimum sales for the year, and we decided to remove the unit. The customer had the unit for 1 year, so...

we do not feel they are entitled to a refund of that fee, which is part of referenced invoice # **-[redacted] . The balance of invoice # **-[redacted] was for the ice that he received on 5/26/2016. That ice was sold by the customer, since they had 5 other deliveries after that to replenish what was sold. Invoice # **-[redacted]  was the 5th delivery for 96 bags. The customer took one other delivery after that date, invoice # **-[redacted]  on 9/28/16, for an additional 94 bags. Therefore, all the ice from **-[redacted] was sold by the customer, and not eligible for refund. The final invoice referenced, **-[redacted]  on 9/28/2016 was the last delivery that this customer had taken. We attempted to deliver one other item in early 2017, and the delivery was refused. We removed our unit on 5/30/2017, and there were five bags left in the box, which the customer kept. We do not feel that the entire invoice should be credited since there was only 5 bags remaining. The agreements that we usually have for keeping an ice box at a store usually state that they need to sell at least 1,500 bags of ice per year. This customer purchased a total of 398 bags for a 1 year period, well below the minimum requirement. At this point, we feel that the matter is closed.
