I am the General Manager of the Holiday Inn Capitol.I personally spoke to *** *** in reference to their stay with us and their bill**and *** *** stayed at the hotel for nights, were charged for parking for nights and had one charge from our restaurantTheir room rate and taxes
totaled $1,Their parking and DC parking tax totaled $And their one meal in the restaurant was $Their total charges were $1,521.14.**and *** *** extended their stay with us, so their credit card was charged Separate times: January ($268.39), January ($208.39), January 10-charges ($and $140.78) and January 14 ($70.02)Total amount paid was $1,This was the amount they owedTherefore, the balance on their folio was $0.It appears that **and *** *** had difficulty understanding why they were charged timesI explained in detail the charges and the totals*** *** finally understoodThe amounts charged did not reflect any one night room, tax, and parkingThey thought that each day the amounts would be the sameThis in my opinion is what had them confusedI did spend over an hour going over the information line by line with her.And just so you know, in talking to her, I did find out that the first night they stayed with us, they parkedacross the street in another parking garageBecause of this, I am crediting their credit card back one night parking and tax, for a total of S*** *** is aware of this credit.| sincerely hope this answers all of the Revdex.com concerns.Sincerely, Sheri *S*General Manager

Review: I booked a reservation on their online reservation site. Printed on the reservation confirmation is their "Best Price Guarantee" that says "find a lower price for our hotels elsewhere and your first night is free". There is a notes section on the confirmation, however there are no notes pertaining to the best price guarantee, or referring to any other websites. I since found a lower rate on their website for the same room during the same time frame. However they are now telling me that their "Best Price Guarantee" only applies for the first 24 hours after the reservation is made. Nowhere in any of their advertising or websites does it say anything about the first 24 hours, except when you scroll down the page. Following is the website address for the "Best Price Guarantee", and the banner that greets you when you access the page.

The Best Price Guarantee is our promise that the best hotel room prices for any [redacted] ([redacted]) property can be found directly on our Web sites. If you find a lower room price (room rate) with a lower total room cost (including all taxes and fees) on a publicly available competing Web site for the same hotel, type of accommodations and rate restrictions on the same date(s), we’ll not only match that lower room price, we’ll give you your first night’s room price free. , subject to the Best Price Guarantee Terms and Conditions. It's that simple.

As you can see, nowhere in their policy is 24 hours mentioned. This is deceptive advertising.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the lower rate for my stay as listed on their website on July 13, 2013; $443.13, including taxes and fees. Or the first night of my confirmed reservation free, like their policy states.

Review: Stayed at this hotel from july 4, 2014 until july 13, 2014. Rented a car from [redacted] and parked the vehicle in holiday inn parking at $37.41 per day parking fee. I only rented the vehicle from july 5 thru july 7. I was charged parking for the entire stay of 9 days instead of the 2 for which I actually used their parking. [redacted] can verify my rental dates. I turned in my paperwork and was told 2 days would be charged only to find out a total of 9 were. I contacted the hotel manager 4 times and have now called the corporate office 3 times and still nothing has been done. I have been told by the manager and corporate that the error was on their part and still nothing is resolved. I am told someone from accounting will call me to correct this error and still no call.Desired Settlement: I would like my credit card refunded the 7 days at 37.41 per day plus tax. I should also require interest that I'm being charged for this remaining on my card but not sure that is possible.
