Holiday Inn Express and Suites

[redacted] stayed on 8/24/2017 at our hotel Quality inn located [redacted]. Every year we have the Jazz fest in [redacted] towards end of july. Two weeks prior we authz and charge the credit card on this busy event. The guest is notified at the time of the booking...

and when we call two week prior about the how they will pay for  the room. We inform our guest in advance via email and phone and make sure the understand the condition  when the room is booked about 2 week advance payment collection.If we dont collect payment and wait till on the day of the reservation and if the guest cards decline or is no show we could be turning business that needs room. [redacted] is and was told in advance about the policy. She is upset that she had to pay in advance for the room or lose the reservation. But this is standard proceedure with most hotels during jazz festival in [redacted].hope this clears up the confusion in this matterthanksmark
