Holiday Inn Express & Suites Swansea

I reserved a night at the hotel with my son and 2 of his friends that are all under the age of 12. I am teacher and basketball coach and we were staying the night to attend a basketball camp nearby in . My son and his teammates were playing video game in the room while I was watching T.V. They are young boys and were laughing and having fun as any normal young boys would. I guess the walls are thin but around 9 :50 pm or so the manager knocked on the door and rudely stated to me that we were way too loud and threatened to kick us out if he gets one more complaint. He was very unprofessional, but I calmly said okay and spoke with my boys to keep it down. The boys were quietly play video game and stopped playing around 10:45 pm and the boys were quietly in bed, because we had an early wake up. At 11:30pm the boys were sleep, I received call from the manager *** "he stated that we were too loud and we had 20 minutes to pack up and leave." I went down to lobby to try and explain to him that boys were in bed for over 30 minutes and were not being loud. I pleading with that we had nowhere to go and the boys were to young to be out this late and this far from home. We live in ***. I asked manager did he get a chance to come up stairs to investigate the noise level when he got the compliant and said he did the first time, but only got a phone call the second time. I tried to tell him it was not us and boys were quiet, but he would not listen and called the police and had us removed. As I agreed to leave and asked for my refund he declined and started to laugh as if it was amusing. We left the hotel and had to drive 20 minutes away t get another hotel and spend almost double what I paid for there.

I had forgotten my Car and Office keys in the room. I called and the young lady who answered the phone said she couldn't check for the keys because she was the only one there. I asked if she could check at the desk. She did, and they were there. I asked if she could mail them. She said yes but I need your credit card. I gave her the CC info and address. OK. I waited for the keys for the week. No keys. So I called back and asked for the keys to be mailed. Person said they were the only one there and couldn't check. I asked someone to get back to me. No one did. Monday the following week rolls around. I call and guys says he is busy and only one there. Said for me to call back after 10am for the manager. I asked if he could have her call me back because I am starting to get frustrated. He says she will call me when sh gets in. 4pm comes. No call. I call, same guy answers. I ask for the manager. He says she is busy and on the floor. I said I was getting frustrated and asked him to radio her. He said something like they don't have radios (not sure how he said it). I told him he flat out lied to me. I worked at a major hotel chain in management and know for a fact that if a manager goes on the floor, she has a radio. He said oh yeah they do use them but she forgot hers. OMG at this point. He asked me to call later. I said, please have her call me by end of day. He said she would... NO CALL END OF DAY YESTERDAY. PLEASE GIVE ME MY KEYS
