Review: We paid extra for and booked a king with a sofa bed. Upon arrival we were told none of those rooms were available and they gave us a 2 queen bed room. We called the 800# for holidayinn they called the hotel and spoke with Larry. Larry told customer service that he thought we would be more comfortable in a queen so that is why he put us in a queen. He also told them he talked to us, which he had not. We went back to the lobby as he was supposed to be moving us back to the room we had originally paid for. When we got down to the Lobby I asked him what the actual truth was as we were told that there were no rooms and 800# customer service was told it was for our comfort. Larry got very nasty and said he did not lie. I said to him do you understand that we paid extra for the king room and you downgraded us and didn't even give us a refund. If the room we wanted was not available then we should have either gotten an upgrade or a refund. Larry was rude and nasty. We did leave and went to another chain. This location was to have already called us and neither the manager or owner has.Desired Settlement: We want a sincere apology from Larry and he needs to go to an anger management class. We also would like 10,000 bonus points from the hotel for the rudeness and meanness, plus the hassle of having to find another room and having to drive 30 minutes to another hotel.
