Bed Bugs - stayed there Aug 2 thru 6. First night woke up with a bug on my arm and bites. Reported it to front desk came home with bites on our backs
We took Benadryl for itching. First night I was the only one who was bothered by a bug. Reported it to front desk. Told him it was t a flea and I've never seen a bed bug but I had bites. He said he was sorry, I told him it was t his fault. I thought that was a one time thing. We were doing the SR 127 sales and were set up at the fairgrounds. We would arrive in the evening eat dinner and go to bed. We stayed in rooms the whole time. On Sunday morning we checked out and went to fair grounds.
We all took Benadryl for itching thinking it was allergies. Dropped off my mother and sister and husband and I headed back home. Upon arriving my mother called and said don't take anything in the house. You were right there were bugs in the room. We have bites all over our backs and other places. We immediately jumped in the shower. I didn't have as many bites on my back as my mother and sister did and husband had a few. We have pictures to prove this. You can see how these were not something that would have been there. I even showed my bites to the young man that first night we were there. I called the hotel and she said the manager wasn't in. It's now Tuesday and no return phone call. For five hundred dollars for our stay and having to throw out clothes I'm not real happy with them.
I called them and she told me they tore the room apart and didn't find any and that they have their rooms sprayed. These bites didn't magically appear. They have been confirmed as bed bug bites and neither one of us have them in our homes. This occurred while we were out of town. I live an hour away from my mother and again not happy how they are handling this. I will attach pictures.
I've read more and more on bed bugs since returning home and look at our pictures they HAVE BED BUGS. I think that a refund is in order plus we've thrown away all our clothes. I'm not risking bring them in our home. I even emptied my purse and threw it away. I am willing to share our pictures with Channel 11 to let them know about this.

First off when I went to the front desk I showed the young man my back arm and on my chest
Where I had bites. I told him it woke me up. I told him I KNEW It wasn't a flea as I know what they look like and our dog doesn't have them. He's a white Maltese and treated every month. I NEVER said a family member has bed bugs. We live in Toledo and ALL family lives out of state!!!! You're more than welcome to check each state to see if they have any lol!! I can not believe that this company would even say that.
The young man kept saying he was sorry and I told him it wasn't his fault. We were NEVER OFFERED A NEW ROOM. I made my reservation MONTHS prior to our stay. We had to stay in Indiana last year as all hotels are booked way in advance for the 127 Sales. A new room was NEVER an option! I took Benadryl every night I was there so did everyone else! We would get in late
In the day after being at the Fairgrounds everyday. We would go to sleep and get up early and leave.
Nobody ever was in the bathroom at the same time therefore nobody ever saw anyone's backs. Mom kept comparing the whole time that she itched and I kept saying it's just because you saw that bug that first night.
When we left I dropped my mother off at her home and we drove home. My Mother called me and said DON'T take a
Thing in your home undress in your garage and take a shower. Check your backs we have bites all over.
I threw away our stuff even my purse as it sat next to the bed each night. So in addition to the $500 plus for staying lost clothing and more. We do have documentation to prove that doctors confirmed that they are bed bug bites.
How dare you say I said I have family members who have them when I don't even have any family in Ohio. My mother lives in Leipsic and is the cleanest person I know!! ALL these bites came from your hotel. You can look at the dates and time stamps on the pictures we took. You can also see how FRESH the bites are.
At this point I want all our money back plus money spent and money for all the clothing we had to throw away. I will be contacting the Health Department so that they can keep checking the hotel. I will also make sure that it's written on every site along with pictures and I will also contact Channel 11 and show them ALL the pictures so that they can see and show everyone. I will post signs put front or stand in front of the
Hotel next year warning others about bed bugs. I will let them find out for themselves. The bites came from this hotel. That's

In reference to this the young man never even reported it to the hotel that I'd stopped by. Apparently he doesn't remember me showing him my back? Comes up with my saying I have a family member with bed bugs? Really? That's bogus!! You will have to travel to 6 different states to check. I can send you photographs of our bodies and you can see that NOBODY has any bites since we left that hotel.
You look at the pictures that were taken from a dead bug found in the hotel which a doctor said was a bed bug. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I don't appreciate them trying to say other wise.
