This situation is truly unfortunate as we try very hard to satisfy all of our guests, in this case after numerous noise complaints and after observing a complete disregard for the condition of our guestroom, this family was asked very politely to depart the hotel earlyAs part of this conversation we let them know that we would be refunding them for the four additional nights they were supposed to stay with our hotel so that they could book elsewhereAs you may imagine, this is a last-resort request as the hotel is in the business of renting rooms, not turning guests awayDespite our attempts to handle this issue discretely, this guest initially refused to leave and caused a disturbance in our lobby that included cursing, speaking loudly and videotaping our staff and other guests against their wishesAt that point we were left with no other option than to make her aware that we would be calling the policeOur #goal is to provide a great, relaxing place for all our guests to rest and enjoy and we take this obligation very seriouslyWe truly regret that this did not work out for this family and we're hopeful that they were able to enjoy the remainder of their stay elsewhereAlso, the $that they reference was the cost the hotel incurred so that we could return our guestroom back to the beautiful condition we want all of our guests to walk into in our recently renovated hotel

linens which we had to replace. We also had to place their room off-market for a day and shampoo all the carpets to remove numerous food and unknown liquid

We reject this complaint response by holiday inn Milwaukee riverfront. We travelled all the way from Australia to stay in Milwaukee with a year old and a year oldOur booking should not have been accepted knowing we had a baby as the baby might cryOr make mess! It's hard enough keeping my autistic year old quiet in my time zoneAnd a year oldCmon!We were only told that we were evicted as they had received too many noise complaintsWe were only told timesWhy weren't we made aware of the noise complaints that they claim they received? Or told of the severity instead of your staff playing it down acting like all was ok!!! This completely blindsided us! Also the night before we were evicted, our kids were asleep at 7:30pm-5am! How can that be true? How can holiday inn honestly receive a valid complaint! These complaints are completely unreasonable. And in response to their claims we ruined the room, completely false!!! There were no sitting area in the rooms for kids!!! so of course the kids needed to sit somewhereWhich meant linen may have needed to be washed or the floors may have needed to be vacuumedAs I would of done if I had access to a vacuum or cleaning products!!! But I'm not at home, I'm a paying guest at their hotel!! It's meant to be a home away from homeAnd the photos of The chocolate on the linen could of been washed out, it was only chocolateIf I had to throw out, replace linen every time kids spilt something on them, I'd be broke!!!! A washing machine would of got rid of the chocolate! I too have many photos and a video of room condition when we leftThere was no permanent damage done at this hotel and I feel it is completely unfair to have been evictedLet alone charged for linen without consent upon being evictedAs people have said to me, they have never been charged at a hotel for leaving fake tan or make up all over the sheets, this is completely ridiculous. The walls at the hotel are paper thinI heard a crying baby in the room next to us and not once did I complainBecause that is not a valid complaint!I also heard a gentlemen check his voice mail on speaker phone and I could hear the messageThat is the hotels issue, not mine or my families. The hotel say they are going to pursue legal action against us for our reviews on this site and trivadvisor etcThe reviews are 100% true Holiday inn ruined my whole vacation for an invalid reasonAnd it's not fair.The trauma of losing my mother and having her funeral the week before flying to USA had already put stress on us prior to coming and we needed holiday inn to be the retreat we deserved, and to instead have holiday inn treat us so terribly and added stress or drama that we didn't neededThe way we were treated has harmed me mentally and emotionallyAnd it's not ok.After being evicted from the hotel, I had been in touch with the hotel manager and let him know about pending authorisationcharges and exact amounts charged on my credit card, to which they responded they have released the funds, however they then did another $just to mess with usI even said that, after being evicted I went through the exact pending charges, then suddenly there were additional 'holds'. The manner in which the general manager handled my complaint was disgusting! He hung up on me telling me he has travelled the world with his kids and not once ever been evictedI'll gladly take a lie detector test about all of this! As when the general manager informed me they will be taking legal action, had insinuated something in my review was false? What?!! With that being said, I'd like to close my response by saying noise complaints, which was the reason we were evicted as I have on video, noise complaints about a crying baby and child are completely unreasonableWe weren't partying, we weren't doijg anything wrong! That's like me complaining that the room next to me was snoring too loudA year old crying and a year old still in a different time zone, is not something I could help. I honestly can't deal or think about this, it upsets me way too muchWith everything we are going through, holiday inn have ruined me! This whole complaint process could of been avoided if they had refunded our money they had wrongly taken as I askedIt's not fair, such a big hotel chain coming after me and my family because I pissed off the general manger!
