I am rejecting this response because: HELLO I HAD NO IDEA TO RESPONED TO COMPLAINT!!!!!!!!!DOES IT EVEN MATTER NOTHING IS GOING TO BE DONE ABOUT HOLIDAY INN SCAM!!!THEY ARE THE MERCHANT AND THE CONSUMER WILL LOSE ALWAYS.!!!!! I DO NOT AGREE WITH CHARGE OR DECISION!!!!THE CONSUMER SHOULD BEWARE OF REDDING HOLIDAY INN ! THEY HAD NO PROOF TO CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD A PICTURE OF WHAT ASHES ON A CARPETI WOULDN'T BE SUPRISED IF MAID GETS A BOUNTY !!!CHECK IT OUT!!

When [redacted] first contacted us regarding this matter it was transferred to our restaurant managerWhen Miss [redacted] contacted us again,and we realized it had not been taken care, of the front desk staff did search our records and could not locate a duplicate charge in the amount of $We let her know that we could not find a duplicate charge in our system After receiving a faxed copy of Miss [redacted] 's statement showing a duplicate charge in the amount of $44.89,because we do appreciate our customers,and in good faith we did credit the guests account in the amount of $We contacted her and apologized to her for this misunderstanding and informed her that we had credited her accountShe seemed to be pleased with the resolution

I am rejecting this response because: I SEE THE HOTEL SENT PICTURES,!!!!!!!!!!!!!WHEN WERE THEY TAKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!WHERE WERE THEY FROM????!!!!!!!!!!THOSE PICTURES COULD HAVE BEEN ANYWHERE AND PLACE!!!!!!!!!IF THE HOTEL WOULD LOOK AT THERE CAMERA THEY WOULD SEE ME GOING OUTSIDE TO SMOKE!!!!!!!!!I NEVER LOOKED BEHIND CURTAINS OR ON TOP OF AIR CONDTIONIER.!!!!!!!!!!!!!THE NIGHT I STAYED AT THIS HOTEL IT WAS COLD I DIDN'T OPEN ANY WINDOWS OR SMOKE IN ROOM.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I WAS TOLD BY DESK CLERK NOT TO PARK IN BACK !!!!!!NO NIGHT TIME SECURITY!!!!!!!!!I LEFT EARLY IN MORNING,DOOR WAS LEFT AJAR SO MAID WOULD MAKE UP ROOM.THERE WAS NO CARD TO PUT ON DOOR TO SHOW I WAS GONEFOR ALL I KNOW SOMEONE COULD HAVE COME INTO THE ROOM AFTER I LEFT.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THOSE PICTURES PROOF NOTHING TO CONNEXT ME TO SMOKING IN A ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!FOR ALL I KNOW THIS COULD BE A SCAM BY THE HOTEL TO GET MORE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!THE STAFF COULD GET A BOUNTY FOR FIND WRONG DOING!!!!!!!!!!!DON'T BLAME SOMEONE FOR SOMETHING THEY DIDN'T DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I DIDN'T SMOKE IN ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOOK AT CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!!!WHY DID I GO OUT TO SMOKE IF I WAS SMOKING IN ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!I WANT A REFUND FOR $250.00!!!!!!!!!!!

Guest did contact the hotel directly and spoke to one of out front desk clerksAt this tome he was informed that he was charged a smoking fee. He then contacted our corporate office to try and have the charged reversedThey contacted me and I spoke io the guest
directlyI did inform him that we would not be refunded the smoking fee, as we did have photo evidence that he did smoke in the roomHe has disputed the charges with his credit card company, and we will not be issuing a creditHe is now upset because he is being charged and in turn I bringing up cleanliness issues

At the  time of check in you initial a  spot on the registration card that states you will be charged a $250.00 fee for  smoking in a non smoking room.  I have the email from when these pictures were sent, and they were sent from a head housekeeper. This room had to be left  down for special cleaning. I will  not be issuing a refund. As far a security is concerned we do have Elite that patrols our property throughout the night.

Review: I have to travel to Redding Ca. every month on business and the last three times I have stayed at this hotel and had problems all three times. I have left complaint cards at the front desk at checkout every time on Feb 4 2015 I checked out and asked about my complaints they say they never received any cards and I handed them to the clerk at checkout each time. Here is just a small list of the complaints in Dec decided to eat at resturant in hotel ordered a steak still frozen in middle they said sorry would credit me never did lied about salad dressing on meal saying it was vinager and oil was not next stay in Jan Refridgarator broken and dirty qtips left on bathroom sink complained again. And they said would reduce rate for problems no reduction. last time on feb 2015 pubic hair on toliet and sink ac quit working for the second time food trays from room service left in front of my roonm all night I never ordered room service. employees smoking at the front door as you walk in not ten foot away as required again promised compensation I sent a letter to their coporate office basically was told sorry about your luck have a nice day the kick in the bottom was the fact that my company requires us to stay at this chain when traveling we are a nation wide company. I hoope they can see the writing on the wall as I have petition the company to change vendors because of the lies and horriable customer service.Desired Settlement: compensation as card credited or 3 free nights stay for the three times I have had problems because they can not find my complaint cards and the fact that the manager herd me talking at the front desk at checkout last time and avoided me like the plague they said she was not there but could see her reflectionfrom the glass door in the office sahking her head no.

Review: Folio NO.[redacted], Confirmation#65237791, Arrival 06-04-2015, Departure 06-05-2015 Rooms 205&207Upon check out I reviewed my invoice in the amount of $342.79 and signed it. My invoice charges are as follows: $132.99 x 2 rooms = $265.98. $13.30 x 2 Occupancy Tax = $26.60, $2.66 x 2 TMBID Tax = $5.32, $44.89 x 1 Room Service charge =$44.89 TOTAL $342.79. However upon review of my bank statement, there was a second room service charge for the exact same amount of $44.89. Charges to my bank card are as follows: $304.62, $38.17, $44.89 TOTAL $387.68. I believe I was double charged for the room service. I have contacted Holiday Inn Redding 6 times and spoke to three different people who have not refunded the overcharge. I have twice faxed to Holiday Inn a copy of my invoice and a copy of my bank statement showing the three separate charges to my bank card totaling more than my invoice to no avail. Total cost of rooms plus room service $342.79, Total charges to bank card $387.68, the difference is $ 44.89 OVERCHARGEDesired Settlement: I want a refund in the amount of $44.89 because this is what I was overcharged. I also want an apology for being given the run around for 4-days and wasting my time. What kind of a establishment thinks this kind of customer service is good for continued and repeat business?
