Review: I visited this place on February 10, 2016 when I entered to have a beer. I sat down and before the bartender took my order, he came over to clean the bar where I was sitting. He sprayed some sort of cleaning liquid on the bar and a considerable amount hit me and the gentlemen on both sides of me (I did not know them). The guy to the right said something to the bartender because it got all over his sweater and he asked what was in it since it had gotten so much on him. I had a jacket on and even though a considerable amount hit, I didn't think anything of it. The next day I washed my jacket and it turns out there must have been bleach in the spray because my practically brand new winter coat was ruined.

I took the jacket by the restaurant on February 16, 2016 and spoke to manager, [redacted]. I explained the situation, gave him specifics, and he asked if I could leave my coat with him, which I did. He said he'd get back to me after speaking to the bartender. I suggested he look at the security cameras because it would be easy to see if they have cameras on the bar area. He said I'd hear from him in the next day or two. I still haven't heard back - and he still has my coat. I emailed him on 2/23 but still haven't heard back from him.Desired Settlement: I left [redacted] information about my coat which included the product/model number - it retails for $240 and I'd like a reimbursement and the coat that I left with him.

Review: I reserved my room in March for the weekend of May [redacted] for my college graduation with [redacted] through [redacted] and prepaid for the room in the amount of 150.30. Upon arrival on May *, they requested a card in order to charge a 15.00 incidentals fee. When I gave them my card, they tried to tell me that the card was being declined several times. I checked my bank account with the full knowledge that I had more than enough in my account to cover the 15.00 charge. Upon checking my account, I found a charge from the hotel for May * in the amount of 117.13. When I brought this to their attention, they claimed they had no idea why it did that because I had prepaid for the room. The supervisor admitted that it was showing in their system as prepaid. My husband then called the bank and learned that the hotel had made an attempt to charge us in the amount of 141.29, 126.95, and then finally received the 117.13, as that was what was ACTUALLY in our account. So they took us to 0.00. Once this was learned, my husband took over the situation and was able to receive a refund in cash on May * in the amount of 117.00. The next day, two more charges from the hotel appeared on our account in the amount of 111.95 and 15.00. My husband called the hotel and they informed us that the problem had already been assessed and the refund had been made. We were informed that we should see the change by Tuesday, May **. Also, on May **, I cancelled my card so that the hotel would no longer have the ability to charge the account since it was my bank card that we had used to pay the incidental fee. However, on May **, instead of the refunds being made, we have now been charged a fourth time in the amount of 117.00. My husband has already called the hotel and they informed us that the charge for 117.00 was to cover the refund that they gave us on May *. This is unacceptable. They charged us for a refund on a charge that they had already made. Also, the best that they would offer was a 25% refund on the room which is unacceptable as they have made nearly 350.00 in unauthorized charges to our account, leaving us in a financial hole. My husband requested to speak to the general manager who did not answer and has not called us back.Desired Settlement: I want my entire room refunded, along with all of the unauthorized charges that have been made to my account, along with any insufficient funds charges that will possibly be charged to my account due to their unauthorized charges.

Review: On 5/9/13, I booked a room from 7/29/13-7/31/13 at the Holiday Inn Tanglewood. The purpose of this reservation was for a place to stay while I took the VA bar exam. I booked this room well in advance knowing hotels fill for such an event. Further, I wanted a hotel of good quality with a restaurant on site so I would not have to be bothered with obtaining food when I could be doing last minute studying. To my surprise, I received a phone call this afternoon on 7/18/13, informing me that the hotel had overbooked and that I had been randomly selected to be moved to a [redacted] down the road. I have several problems with this. First of all, the [redacted] is clearly of inferior quality (I have checked online ratings). The price may be cheaper but you pay for what you get. If I wanted a cheap motel, I would have booked it in the first place. I wanted a nice, quiet place to stay during this extremely stressful test. Instead, I was called days before the exam with an added stress factor that I cannot do anything about. I have been offered zero compensation for this issue other than the reduced hotel rate which is of course obvious since a [redacted] room is not worth the rate of the Holiday Inn. Regardless, lack of compensation is not my issue. My issue is the act of "randomly" selecting guests to be booted from their reservations. My further issue is the making of reservations when a hotel is already fully booked. This is a horrible business practice and warrants investigation.Desired Settlement: Do not overbook! All guests reasons for using a hotel are equally important and they should not have the rug pulled out from under them at the last minute. Further, those who book last should be first out. Reward those who book in advance.

Due to some out of normal situation we had to route several guests to different property. In normal occasion we would move guest to same standard hotels, but due to big tournament in valley no rooms are available at same standard hotels. Will update the file after talking to the guest. Review: We arranged a contract/agreement with Holiday Inn for blocking rooms for our wedding. All our our friends and family members all stayed at the Holiday Inn and we generated a lot of business for them. There are three (3) issues of concern we had with the Holiday Inn which I listed below: 1. There was no available parking spaces at the hotel. All of our guests (approximately 30), complained for days there was absolutely NO PARKING spaces at the hotel. I personally did not believe this and went there myself and found numerous large utility trucks parked in their lot for several days. The trucks were very large and took up approximately 3-4 parking spaces each. Many of my guests complained to the hotel's front desk which did nothing to fix this problem. I would never had blocked all the rooms at the Holiday Inn should I have known my guests would not have a place to park. All my guests drove over 9 hours, one-way, just to get there. Many guests drove much longer. Many stayed there for more than one night. Nobody could go anywhere during their stay because they could never find a parking space. They could not simply just go out for lunch or dinner and return without any parking spaces or nearby alternative places to park. 2. I worked with the Holiday Inn wedding coordinator, [redacted], with all the details on the blocked rooms. I provided her clear instructions to arrange for the Holiday Inn shuttle buses to pick up my guests in the lobby of the hotel at specific times. I have emails from [redacted] proving she agreed and knew the exact times of the pickup and departure. Our wedding ceremony was suppose to start at 2:45PM. The Holiday Inn shuttle buses told my guests it was a 45 minute drive to the ceremony when in reality it was only 21 minutes. The buses were at least 15 minutes early and my guests were on the wedding property and walking around by 2:30PM. This is unacceptable. The groom, parents, and wedding party were all still setting up outside when the buses arrived. It was embarrassing for all the guest to arrive when things were not set up properly and nobody was properly dressed or prepared to greet the buses so early. 3. The wedding was October 19, 2013. I called the Holiday Inn to voice these complaints on October 20, 2013. I asked to speak with [redacted] but was told she was unavailable. I asked to speak with the head Manager and I was put into the voicemail for [redacted]'s boss). I left a detailed voicemail for Mr. [redacted] explaining these problems and I requested an immediate return phone call. I did not receive any return phone call EVER. I had called [redacted] on October 30, 2013 and demanded to know why my concerns have not been addressed or nobody has returned my call. She was VERY rude with me, unprofessional, and stated Mr. [redacted] was out of the office and that was why nobody called me back. I asked her who was checking his voicemail when he was out and she said she did but their phone system was not working and she did not get the message until just the other day. I asked to speak with the General Manager/Owner, Bhuepesh Patel, and she told me she will have him or the Assistant General Manager call me by the end of the week for certain. I requested 20% off for all my guests and 4 specific rooms to be fully refunded for their stay: rooms belonging to [redacted] & [redacted] & [redacted], and [redacted] & [redacted]. I explained these 4 rooms belonged to our immediate family members who were there setting up early on the day the buses arrived early. I still have not received any return call from the owner/general manager. My problems and requests have not been addressed. I find the Holiday Inn's business practices are unethical and deceptive. They also clearly failed to deliver a service that was promised to me by their associate [redacted].Desired Settlement: 1. 20% off for all my guests. 2. 4 rooms fully refunded for their stay. These rooms belong to: [redacted] & [redacted] & [redacted], and [redacted] & [redacted]
