Please see attached:I have reviewed the complaint and file of [redacted] and found that our staff has been working toward a resolution for the past 60 days.Mr. [redacted] ordered a fifth wheel and planned to trade in another trailer in April 2017. The tax due to the state of Texas was...

calculated correctly at the time. When the unit arrived and Mr. [redacted] took delivery in early June 2017, he added some options to the unit, therefore changing the sales price, and removed the trade-in. The combination of changes made by Mr. [redacted] changed the sales tax due to the state. The tax change was not computed correctly on the delivery paperwork.Our finance manager contacted Mr. [redacted] within a few days and notified him of the tax error and that the title and registration could not be processed until he paid all state required taxes. He refused to pay. The result was his license and registration were not processed. Our staff, including management, talked to by phone and in phone with Mr. [redacted] on several occasions to try to come to a resolution. Although Mr. [redacted] understands owes the tax, he is unwilling to pay it. He then filed his complaint with the Revdex.com and has posted comments on several internet sites claiming he can't get his license plates.Our management arranged another meeting on September 19, 2017 to discuss a possible resolution with Mr. [redacted]. During the meeting Mr. [redacted] was not willing to pay any part of the additional correct tax due. I wonder how h would feel if the error had been made in favor of the dealership and he had overpaid the tax. We, of course, would have promptly refunded any overpayment back to him if that were the case. As a final resolution [redacted]. is absorbing the cost of the unpaid and the license and registration is being processed now. Mr. [redacted] should receive his new license and registration in about 10 days. We consider the issue resolved.We hope Mr. [redacted] and his family enjoy their new fifth wheel for many years to come and we stand ready to assist them in any way we can. Respectfully,[redacted]Manager[redacted].
