This consumer was disciplined after breaching contract by bringing unauthorized people onto the property and endangering other clients, staff and animals. I spent hours with this client going over her contract and reminded her times of the requirements prior to the disciplinary
action. The consumer works for a competing business and posted negative reviews of our business on our Facebook page. She also got other employees of the same business to do the same. negative reviews from a competing business resulted in my contacting the competitor to ask why her company was attacking mine. As a professional courtesy in this line of work, no farm attacks another. The client dropped her horse off without paying her initial payment, despite requests, and stated that she owed no money per her lawyer. She was allowed on property with staff escort until the payment was made. She paid half of the owed monies and the other half was forgiven under the condition that she removed her horse from the property within days of her payment clearingShe met the conditions, thereby ending our contract. No social media post included her or her horse’s name. There was one photo of her horse, welcoming him to the farm and one showing him in a borrowed winter blanket for a snow storm. All posts referencing her horse have been removed.Copies of all communications with the client (text, email and messages) were saved for reference. All pertained to breach of contract and taking steps to remedy the situationNo threats were made.Per consumer’s request, all social media posts associated with her were removed. Responses to the negative reviews remain, as they can only be removed by her and the other staff members of the competing farm.No contact has been made with her since the contract was fulfilled
