To whom this my concern,I have plus years in roofing and never have had a problem with a roof leaking this is the only roof I have ever had leakSo *** called me and asked for a estimate on his roof that was leaking so I went up and looked at it and give him a price on what I thought it would
take to fix itSo we did the job for him I use ice and water under the shingles because when you use shingles on a low slope roof you want ice and water to help from leaking (witch I've done before and never had a problem)I Got a call saying it was leaking so I went up and looked at it thinking maybe a nail was exposed and nope there wasn't so I went around the edges with tar think maybe the wall on the house was bad, so after I got done with that I left a few months went by he called again so I went up and looked at it again and seen a few spots I missed from the first time and I left after thatSo I get another call so I said I'll put another roof down and so I use low slope rolled roofing (again use quite abit and never a problem) and re did the whole roofFew months later I get another call saying its leaking in the winter well I couldn't do much in the winter since there is no heat to seal anything so it would have to wait till spring but I jumped up there anyway to see if there was any split seams on where it would be coming from but no there wasn't so at this point I'm starting to think its coming from above the low sloped roof and I tell *** and he said there's no way so I said ok I'll take a look in spring when it's warmer to do somethingSpring hit and I got hit with a lot of work witch I told *** I was sorry for not making it over there so when I finally got there I just decided I'll put a torch down, down so if it does leak again I know it's coming from the top cuz there is no way that anything would be getting though them seam unless it going behind from where we stoppedAlso I told *** in text message that it was coming from the above the part that was leaking and still so that there was no wayBut anyways I am fine with another contractor going up there and give there thought on if the part we did is or not sealed and if not I will go back to make right or give some of the money backI had a guy go with me last time to lay the roof and he's been doing them for years of low slope roofing for commercial companiesAnd he even thinks it's coming from the top too and every other contractor I've talked to tooSo please contact me anytime if anymore questions need to be answered thanks Nick

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards,[redacted] I am not sure if I am doing this correctly but in response to Nicks response. We hired him to replace and fix the roof so there was no more leaking and when he looked at it he gave us a quote and we all agreed.  We are not roofers otherwise we would have done it ourselves so we trusted him to take care of it. Nick did say after he tried to fix the leaks several times that he thought it was coming from someplace else and I told him no place else is leaking, and thought to myself if he is such a qualified roofer than he should have noticed potential future leaks when he gave us the quote. We had an actual roofing contractor look at it and he said the seam was leaking and there is a big dip where the roofs come together which can cause pooling and collect rain and snow, he also said that there is some flashing higher up that could be contributing to the problem. If nick brought his roof expert  with 28 years of experience in the beginning maybe we wouldn't be having all the problems we are now having . Bottom line is this we paid Nick a total of $2600 for new roof and sheet rock on the inside and inside is ruined again and to redo the roof and flashing is $5195 which does not include the inside . We prefer not to have Nick here again to do any work and will get it fixed but the extra expense and turmoil is very difficult to absorb so we request the portion that we already paid Nick ($2600) back to help us pay to get it fixed properly.  Thank you for your help in this matter.
sincerely [redacted]
