Let me put this in perspective: Between April and Septeach year we get a landslide of outdoor power equipment in for repairEveryone waits till the last monument and we go from an avgof few days for a repair to -weeks for a repairEvery shop in Spartanburg goes thru the same predicament Storage space is a premium and we rely on customers to pick their units up as soon as they are calledIf they dont pick up after days of being notified it is ready , we charge a $3/day storage fee and it is posted in our shopNow to the response I could not find the name in your complaint in our system but I did inquire with the front customer service and I was able to connect it to a customer by the name of [redacted] *** [redacted] brought a push lawnmower in for repair on May On 6/9/ [redacted] was called to to inform him that his mower was ready to be pick upCustomer was called again on 6/15/and on 7/15/with no response at all On 8/5/ladies came in our shop and asked if [redacted] ***s"mower was still here I told them it was but after sitting so long the carb might need cleaned again at an additional charge since it was left so longThe June bill was $without storage fees ($3/day $total storage fee) for a total bill of $The ladies said they could not afford that much and I felt sorry for them and they end up paying $on 8/5/We started the mower and loaded it in their carOn or about 9/one of the ladies returned with the mower in the back of the car and said it would not runI unloaded unit right then and tried to start and it would start and dieI took it in the shop and dump out the gas in the mower and replaced it with fresh gasThe mower started right up and I mowed a small section of grass in our parking lot to show her it was running and cutting grass I then re loaded it in their car and she left I did all this at no charge and put her in front of other customers we were trying to get finishedOn 8/8/the same lady returned with the mower in her trunkShe told customer service it would not start and she wanted her money backWe told her that she wasn't getting a refund and if she wanted to leave it for evaluation we would take a look at it in a weeks or so which is our current wait timeShe asked our mechanic to unload the mower and she said she didn't care what we did with it but she wasn't taking it back homeI am not sure what else I could have done she left the mower without leaving a phone number so I do not know how to contact her to see what she wants us to do with the mower

First of all when Ms H [redacted] came in she was told we were running about 2-weeks on repairsShe came in on 7/11/ and unit was picked up on 8/4/(3wk and days) She added the xtra 2-days by adding a tuneup to job order at the last minuteWhen unit came in it would not start or roll and looked like it had it had been severely neglected over its 8+ yearsShe told us that she had tried to repair it herself by replacing several switches /parts many of them were wrong partsOf the $bill only $330.00($was part the starter) were to fix the starting issue and the other $has to do with the tuneup she added to the work orderWe spent a half a day starting and restarting the mower to make sure it was working and we started the unit a drove it on the trailerThe bushing she talked about had nothing to do with the starting issue and we never even worked on the area of the mower but Ms H [redacted] told my mechanic he must have broke it and she was the customer and the customer is always right he should replace it for freeL [redacted] remove the bushing in front of the customer and explained and showed the customer that the item was dry rottred from years of Uv exposure and weatherHe told Ms H [redacted] that this was well worn mower and the bushing do wear out and if she wanted to pay for the addition part he could order that was nothing we stockedApparently this was not going to satisfy her because she insisted it should be free, so as instructed with abusive customers L [redacted] is suppose to just walk awayLater Ms H [redacted] called and said it would take several times turning the key to get it to startI told her that if it continued to bring it back and we would look further into the problem and we might have to replace wiring harness if it continues and thats the way our call endedShe has not brought unit back but she had time to log on to Google to gives a bad and unfair review before she even allowed us to address any "issues" that she is complaining aboutAnd now she is contacting you to complain and we still havnt seen the unit to even verify there is a problem or is it just made up by Mr H [redacted] to try to get a free repair and tuneupThat all I got to say

Regards,
T*** H***I called the business immediately after bringing it home in hopes of getting the issue resolved without having to go through all thisThey never offered to check it without telling me it was probably a connection or that I would need to replace the wiring harness and that I would have to pay more for those thingsWhen I originally dropped it off I asked them to address the starting issue which is still not resolvedI also told them to do whatever needed to be done to get it working again which they obviously did notI don't know if they didn't make note of it or forgot but I also asked them to service the mower with an oil change and everything it needed including sharpening or changing blades when I originally dropped it offAnother thing, when I picked it up I was told that of my blades had been changed but the third they couldn't get off for some reason so they just sharpened itMy brother in law took the third blade right off easily and it had never been sharpenedHe went to buy a blade to replace it and was told that they are only sold in sets of three so I don't know if I was charged for all three or charged for the sharpening but I have the blade and plan to take it and show it to them at eastside small engine repairLastly, I was never abusive nor did I request any parts be replaced for freeI only told them the ushing wasn't broken when I dropped it off and they did work on that area because they raised a plate attached to it to grease a partI feel like L*** was abusive to us because he immediately got defensive and raised his voice and started cussing and my young son was sitting in the backseat of our truck and heard the entire conversationI'm not trying to get over on anyone, I just wanted what I paid for and not to be treated with disrespect and I feel that didn't happenI have since had to haul my mower all the way to Anderson to be repaired by someone else because I really need it so that I can get back to work to make the money I have lost on it already and could not wait any longer

Obviously Ms H*** cant be helpedMost people would have brought the unit right back and we would have stopped what we were doing and address the problemWe do this for all our customers without exceptionI told her it could be as simple as a bad connection possible easy fixIt is not true about the blades we sell them every day by the each and so do other shopsShe was only billed for ea blades and we didnt even charge her to sharpen the other blade

My complaint is not about money or my tire My Issue is the way I received conflicting reasons as to what was wrong with one tire and when I questioned them they acted as though I was trying to get him to do it for free If I were the expert I wouldnt have come to him I brought them in and asked if it could be done , he said yes When one failed he gave me one reason another man gave me a different reason I dont care about the money and the tire is fixedI just want other people to be aware of the serviceIf my mower breaks down and he was the last repair service in town , I,ll buy a goat
*** ***

unfortunately, we were never asked what would be the best option to fix the tiresWe were furnished tubes and really old tires the had cracks and holes all thru outWhen the customer asks us to install tubes in their tires we assume he is the expert or is informed enough and has chosen
this method to fix his problemWe installed the tubes and both held air for at lease an hour and when customer came in I realized that the oldest one was flatI tried to re-inflate but would not hold any air at allI told the customer that if the tire punched a hole (thorn or wire) in the tube he would need anther tube Our tire machine does not have anything sharp and the tire held air for an hour after assemblyHis response was that he was out a tube and someone was going to pay

As I stated, not sure there was ever any problem

Regards,
T*** H***When I dropped my machine off I explained what was going on with it and asked you to do whatever it needed to get it running rightI told you I had the starter previously tested when you told me that was the problem and that it had tested goodYou told me you were sure it was the starterI now know the only problem was one single worn wire and nothing more but I was charged all that money for something I didn't need only to have the same problem afterOf course I wasn't going to bring it back when it wasn't done right there the first time only so I would have to pay you more to have it probably still not done right! I have lots of kids and I'm not rich and couldn't really even afford what I already paid you! I don't wish to keep arguing about the problemYou ripped me off and put two blades on that were half an inch too big, my machine still did the same exact thing after you worked on it, a part was broken and your employee was extremely rude and using bad language to my husband and I within hearing of my childYou are in the wrong but I don't think you will own up to it, especially after reading your other reviews online

Let me put this in perspective: Between April and Sept. each year we get a landslide of outdoor power equipment in for repair. Everyone waits till the last monument and we go from an avg. of few days for a repair to 2 -3 weeks for a repair. Every shop in Spartanburg goes thru the same predicament...

Storage space is a premium and we rely on customers to pick their units up as soon as they are called. If they dont pick up after 10 days of being notified it is ready , we charge a $3/day storage fee and it is posted in our shop. Now to the response I could not find the name in your complaint in our system  but I did inquire with the front customer service and I was able to connect it to a customer by the name of [redacted] brought a push lawnmower in for repair on  May 21 2015.  On 6/9/2015 [redacted] was called to to inform him that his mower was ready to be pick up. Customer was called again on 6/15/15 and on 7/15/2015 with no response at all.  On 8/5/15 2 ladies came in our shop and asked if [redacted]s"mower was still here.  I told them it was but after sitting so long the carb might need cleaned again at an additional charge since it was left so long. The June bill was $91.14 without storage fees ($3/day  $114.00 total storage fee) for a total bill of $205.00. The ladies said they could not afford that much and I felt sorry for them and they end up paying $75.14 on 8/5/15. We started the mower and loaded it in their car. On or about 9/3 one of the ladies returned with the mower in the back of the car and said it would not run. I unloaded unit right then and tried to start and it would start and die. I took it in the shop and dump out the gas in the mower and replaced it with fresh gas. The mower started right up and I mowed a small section of grass in our parking lot to show her it was running and cutting grass I then re loaded it in their car and she left . I did all this at no charge and put her in front of other customers we were trying to get finished. On 8/8/15 the same lady returned with the mower in her trunk. She told customer service it would not start and she wanted her money back. We told her that she wasn't getting a refund and if she wanted to leave it for evaluation we would take a look at it in a weeks or so which is our current wait time. She asked our mechanic to unload the mower and she said she didn't care what we did with it but she wasn't taking it back home. I am not sure what else I could have done she left the mower without leaving a phone number so I do not know how to contact her to see what she wants us to do with the mower.

Regards,
T[redacted] H[redacted]They never offered to make anything right, only to charge me more money to check other things and I can't afford it nor do I have all that time on my hands. My other blade wasn't sharpened like they said either so of course I shouldn't have been charged!

First of all when Ms H[redacted] came in she was told we were running about 2-3 weeks on repairs. She came in on 7/11/2017  and unit was picked up on 8/4/2017 (3wk and 2 days) . She added the xtra 2-3 days by adding a tuneup to job order at the last minute. When unit came in it would not start or...

roll and looked like it had it had been severely neglected over its 8+ years. She told us that she had tried to repair it herself by replacing several switches /parts many of them were wrong parts. Of the  $513.00 bill only $330.00($200.00 was 1 part the starter) were to fix the starting issue and the other $183.00 has to do with the tuneup she added to the work order. We spent a half a day starting and restarting the mower to make sure it was working and  we started the unit a drove it on the trailer. The bushing she talked about had nothing to do with the starting issue and we never even worked on the area of the mower but Ms H[redacted] told my mechanic he must have broke it and she was the customer and the customer is always right he should replace it for free. L[redacted] remove the bushing in front of the customer and explained and showed the customer that the item was dry rottred from years of Uv exposure and weather. He told Ms H[redacted] that this was well worn mower and the bushing do wear out and if she wanted to pay for the addition part he could order that was nothing we stocked. Apparently this was not going to satisfy her because she insisted it should be free, so as instructed with abusive customers L[redacted] is suppose to just walk away. Later Ms H[redacted] called and said it would take several times turning the key to get it to start. I told her that if it continued to bring it back and we would look further into the problem and we might have to replace wiring harness if it continues and thats the way our call ended. She has not brought unit back but she had time to log on to Google to gives a bad and unfair review before she even allowed us to address any "issues" that she is complaining about. And now she is contacting you to complain and we still havnt seen the unit to even verify there is a problem or is it just made up by Mr H[redacted] to try to get a free repair and tuneup. That all I got to say
