The customer purchased the Saturn Relay 5/6/ She received a day / mile warranty She returned on 6/11/with a warning light that there was an issue with the evap system At this time she had the vehicle days and had already drive the vehicle miles She was out of warranty by days and miles We made a decision to do a good faith repair and diagnosed and repaired her vehicle at no charge It is now months later and at that same rate of driving she would have driven over 13,miles The evap (evaporation) system in a vehicle is designed to capture gas fumes and recycle them back into the system rather than escaping into the environment It is a complicated system and the failure of multiple components can cause the engine light to come on and whose failure can trigger an evap warning and consequential repair The evap canister she said was replaced is positioned under the back of the vehicle and is a filter that can capture the excess fuel that will overflow into it during the fueling process One practice that commonly causes the canister to fail prematurely is when somebody tries to force more gas into the vehicle after the pump shuts itself off when full Some people call this "topping off the tank" However this is a bad practice and over time will accelerate the failure of the canister A vehicle that is over years old as this one is, the life expectancy of the canister is spent regardless Finally in researching the records in our repair shop we found that the evap system part we replaced on 6/11/was a purge solenoid located under the hood by the exhaust manifold It made sense for the customer to assume that this could have been the same repair over again when she heard it was an evap repair, but it was a completely different component Also I would like to recommend that anyone who feels an item on their vehicle should possibly be a candidate for a warranty replacement, to take the vehicle to the person they think should provide the warranty before they repair it It is not a good practice to have it repaired then go ask another shop for the money The warranty system is not designed to function in that manner We are sorry the customer had this issue but it really does not involve us at all, and we appreciate the opportunity the bureau provides to resolve these issues [redacted] , President

I purchased a Honda Civic
March and the check engine light came on several days laterI brought it back September 16th and the transmission clutch and battery were replacedThirty days later the check engine light came back on and I'm told to return it but no loaner car is offered while it is being repaired

I bought Nissan Altima from them on 9/4/As soon as I took it to test drive it was shaking funny and the air was not cold eitherI noticed it felt like the transmission or the motor mountWhenever I took it back to them I told them about itThey took it to the shop and told me everything was fixedI picked it up and not even a week later the car began to shakeI called and told the mechanic there that it was it was still going onHe told me to come back up and they would look at it againThey supposedly fixed it again, they said it was the motor mountIt stopped shaking, but now veers to the leftI went and got an alignment done and it didn't fix itThe air is still not workingI contacted them again and he told me my car wasn't under warranty anymore and I couldn't take it back to get fixedThe way he talked to me was so rudeI took it to a shop recently and was told the air compressor was completely shot and the wiring was bad

We have resolved the issue with the customers car and have satisfied them completelyThis matter is resolved

This is not a warranty issue The customer is 11,thousand miles out of warranty, and she is fully aware of that We have serviced her vehicle for her before and she was happy with the work but she knows we do not provide loaner vehicles for service customers She called the
service manager and said her car wouldn't shift She had it towed in and filed the Revdex.com complaint before we even received her car She knew we didn't provide loaners cars when she had hers towed in She hoped the Revdex.com would tell us to give her a loaner car when her was towed in When I went to discuss this with our service manager he informed me that this was a very simple fix on her car and he had not even charged her for it I think she is happy at this point She got her car back right away with no charge We cannot change our policy about providing loaner cars for every service customer Insurance, logic, and economics would prohibit that practiceThank You

We would be happy to agree to participate in the Revdex.com arbitration process in this case We feel it would provide the customer with the best opportunity for them to walk away from this issue feeling they were treated fairly. Thank You

On 6-22-I went Hollywood Motor to purchase a Hyundai Accent My deposit was $down, I filled out all my paperwork and the only thing they told me was I needed full coverage insurance to pull off the lotOnce I got the insurance completed, they verified itAnd they gave me my keysAnd the deal was doneThen on July 8,5:34pm I received a text message from *** *** stating that then I needed "voided pay studs"And at the time I was wondering why I needed the voided pay studs for; if everything was taken care ofSo right after that text message Mr.*** texted me and stated that "he needed the voided pay studs by Monday, or the bank gonna kick the deal back"So due to phone issues that I had I didn't get to respond to the text messages until Sunday morning asking Mr*** if there's was anything else I cold bring in besides the pay studsAnd he just stated that "he'll ask tomorrow"After that when I spoke to *** *** on the phone he told me I could get a co-

StCharles Rock Road
I went there mid-March and told him I didn't have a license, but he insisted on me test driving the car I got pulled over because he didn't put the tags in the correct place In addition, they sent a box of cookies to my job without my permission I was fired the day after they delivered these cookies, which is the reason I believe After employment verification, they found out that I was discharged I got a different job They said they needed a pay stub and I said I didn't have one yet since I just started the new job She said she just needed one and asked me to come into the office She immediately said I could not keep the car anymore until I present them with a pay stub I tried to explain to her that I was a traveling consultant and needed a vehicle I was starting my job and could still present them with proof that I was making the same amount of money They took my car, I took my stuff out, and I had no way to work I basically lost my car

I Bought Saturn Relay from this dealershipI was under warranty when I got my e-vap fixed the first timeMy check engine light came on and read it was an E-vap
I went to get my car fixed for a different reason and on 3/it said my e-vap canister code came up againI got it fixed They must not have fixed this issue right the first time, so I feel they should reimburse me for what I paid to get it fixed again

I attempted to get in touch with the general manager of the dealershipThey kept transferring me and I never got to anyoneI did try to reach out first to solve it with them before filing a complaint

Absolutely loved the gentleman micha bond I worked with the past days! He was amazing and kept to his promise I would go back for sure as long as I work with him

Thank you for your timely response the issue has been resolved as of Friday, June 5, 2015.

The customer purchased the 05 Saturn Relay 5/6/15.  She received a...

30 day /  1000 mile warranty.  She returned on 6/11/15 with a warning light that there was an issue with the evap system.  At this time she had the vehicle 36 days and had already drive the vehicle 1516 miles.  She was out of warranty by 6 days and 516 miles.  We made a decision to do a good faith repair and diagnosed and repaired her vehicle at no charge.  It is now 9 months later and at that same rate of driving she would have driven over 13,000 miles.      The evap (evaporation) system in a vehicle is designed to capture gas fumes and recycle them back into the system rather than escaping into the environment.  It is a complicated system and the failure of multiple components can cause the engine light to come on and whose failure can trigger an evap warning and consequential repair.  The evap canister she said was replaced is positioned under the back of the vehicle and is a filter that can capture the excess fuel that will overflow into it during the fueling process.  One practice that commonly causes the canister to fail prematurely is when somebody tries to force more gas into the vehicle after the pump shuts itself off when full.  Some people call this "topping off the tank".  However this is a bad practice and over time will accelerate the failure of the canister.  A vehicle that is over 10 years old as this one is, the life expectancy of the canister is spent regardless.      Finally in researching the records in our repair shop we found that the evap system part we replaced on 6/11/15 was a purge solenoid located under the hood by the exhaust manifold.       It made sense for the customer to assume that this could have been the same repair over again when she heard it was an evap repair, but it was a completely different component.  Also I would like to recommend that anyone who feels an item on their vehicle should possibly be a candidate for a warranty replacement, to take the vehicle to the person they think should provide the warranty before they repair it.  It is not a good practice to have it repaired then go ask another shop for the money.  The warranty system is not designed to function in that manner.      We are sorry the customer had this issue but it really does not involve us at all, and we appreciate the opportunity the bureau provides to resolve these issues.
