Good evening, I was in Hollywood store and Deli, right next door to Hollywood school trying to buy a *** 2 L the *** 2 liter price was $2.49...
I had to pick up a few other things and I apparently did not have enough for it so I decided to go to the 1 liter of *** and they charged me $2.49 for the 1 liter, I do not understand how they can charge same price for a smaller prop a smaller product of the same item? I feel like this is a gouging price. Prior to me going here they used to charge they won leaders at about $2
I did call the store back and requested for the manager but the manager was not in she will not be in until tomorrow morning. There are a lot of things and the store that they have gouged their prices on and I feel that somebody needs to do investigation on the store and their prices I have never been charged so much for so little or the same. So I came home without my pop and my other items that I wanted to get or needed to get. I understand with everything going on with this virus thing that allows doors are shut down and prices are being jacked up but I do not believe it's fair or right that this little Country Store can sell a 2 L of Pop *** products at $2.49 and then also sell their one leader at $2.49. The worker that was there today claimed that it was a deposit type issue and if that's the case then it would have been a little less for the one leader, you can go in the store and buy a 20oz pop product for a $1.39 to a $1.50 that's including deposit. And our cans of pop are less than $2...
For the cans of *** products it used to be two for $1, I understand sometimes they have sales but due to what I seen today they are gouging their prices on a lot of things mainly the 2L and the 1l
Modification/discontinuance of I would appreciate if they price their items according to the Wrights you cannot sell again for example... A 2 L pop for $2.49 and also sell a liter of Pop for $2.49, taxes included for final price. Nor can you sell anything in a store at a certain price and then price something smaller of volume for the same price that is illegal and not right

Unfortunately at a small store like ours, prices will be higher than a grocery store or gas station because we do not buy in volume and therefore do not get the discounts that those stores receive.
Our prices on sodas have not changed in more thank a year. I assure you there is no price gouging going on at our store.
Our 2liters of *** are $2.79 and our 1 liters are $2.49 a 16.9 ounce is $1.79 plus deposit on each. Pricing is determined by the dollar amount we are charged from our supplier.
Price increases often happen at least once per year and I have no control over these.
