We were contacted by phone to find out if we wanted to support our local high school sports teams on their yearly team schedules We said yes, thinking that proceeds were going to the schoolAfter participating in two different schedules (football and basketball) we were contacted by the school letting us know that the school is not affiliated with nor receives any funds from Elite DesignsThis is when we found out Elite Designs is in Texas After trying to contact Elite Designs from the phone number listed on our most recent receipt, (by the way it was an # for [redacted] , [redacted] ), we pulled our first receipt from them showing a long distance number ( [redacted] ) and spoke with [redacted] asking her how much of the money goes towards our school's sports program, she said noneAt that point I asked for a refundShe said we got what we paid forWe then asked to be put on their do not call list, which she agreed to do
I was contacted in January, and asked if I would like to advertise on the *** HS Football Poster"Of course", I replied as I always support local education sport eventsI paid a sizable sum for a 4xad that only appeared on the copies that were sent to me to distribute myself!!
I later discovered that the *** HS Football team received not one dime of the proceeds and I thought I was supporting the local team!
As my husband is the pastor of our church, I shared the information with the church administrationThe church also purchased an ad with Elite Designs with the understanding that the *** HS Football Team would benefit
When I spoke to Elite Designs a week or so ago, the lady declared they had NEVER said the ad benefited the HS Football team That was certainly the allure of the ad and a dishonest approach to soliciting ads

I received my 1st phone call about the football poster sponsorship, liked the price and decided to do both our local high schoolsThe saleslady indicated someone would call back to verify the order, which they didDuring the verification process the person asked me to verbally answer (2) personal security questions of my choice, like what's my mother's maiden name, where was I born, what was the name of my first pet, etcI refused to give her answers to any of those questions because they could be used to steal my identityThat's not professional! After that they faxed over a consent to run my credit card and an authorization for the ads - twiceWe own a restaurant and she called several times during the lunch hour, which began to frustrate meThey called several more times today - which I just hung upHoly cow, I just ordered the ads yesterday and need some time to see if they are legitWhen they go around asking for answers verbally to one's security questions - it makes you not trust themI went to the internet to research them, but the fact they don't belong to the Revdex.com makes me even more leery and I don't like the fact that now I see none of the money goes to the schools and its likely on given out to the sponsors that paid for itI'm going to cancel and not do business with them
